Call her out, Lupin! This hogging of the cat tower Shall Not Stand!

Tommy just wants Sophie to be happy.

Tommy is a good boy and Sophie is a queen.

Someone should say, “Take it away, Tommy.”

Sophie just needs to learn to share. As an only child who grew into an only adult, I can tell you it isn’t a trait that comes naturally.

Why is it a “cat tower” and not a “cat tree”? Is there a difference?

Aww, Tommy backing Sophie against… himself. Only Tommy’s enough of a good boy for that.

Tommy is such a selfless giving soul. He does not care that Sophie is being very selfish as he just wants her to be happy. Everything Tommy does is to help others such as the time Elvis got lost a few Christmas seasons back.

Sophie forgot how to be a kindly roommate and share.

Uh, Lupin, do you recall your takeover of a certain “chalet?”

To me the look on Tommys’ face says he wants to try it too!

Tommy, try a little reverse psychology. If you start ignoring her and feign disinterest in the tower, Sophie’ll probably come round and give you a chance on it. It’s worth a try. Or you can serenade her with a lot of loud meows and drive her away from the tower.

Since she is blind in one eye, she’s like the tower in, Lord Of The Rings…only not evil, just stand offish!

Fortress of solitude, like Superman? :D

Poor Tommy. He just wants to have a little fun too, no matter how happy he wants Sophie to be. :(

Violet-Ifa: There are many legends surrounding the Great Pyramid. Some speak of a room full of scrolls containing wondrous stories.

Beatrixia: Yeah. We went looking for it last year, but all we found was a room full of gold and gems.

Violet-Ifa: I remember that. Adobe Style, Sophititi, and Maat-Tilda used some in their artwork.

Beatrixia: Maybe we could go back and explore the Great Pyramid this year.

Enter Lupinium

Lupinium: Is someone talking about going on an adventure?

Bea: Yes. Maybe we could look for more secret rooms in the Great Pyramid.

Violet-Ifa: Well, we Royal Procurers do have a scroll from our ancestors.

Lupinium: Ooh, can we see it?

Violet-Ifa: Yes. It says “We have hidden a lot of treasure at the Great Pyramid. But we won’t say where.”

Tommy’s loyal “yeah!” to Sophie’s comment even though Sophie is saying she won’t share with him. . . What a smitten kitten!

Remember Sophie does respond when cats explain things to her that she might not have dealt with before such as (was it?) "Heck on the Deck II. Hopefully we’ll see Tommy up on the cat tower before long.

Sophie has to leave sometime, and if Tommy is anything like my Finlay, well Finlay is nicknamed “the bed thief” sSnowy finds the good spots , then next time I look Finlay is there.

I’m not entirely sure who Tommy’s little Yeah! is agreeing with, but it rather looks like it’s for Sophie’s statement.

Come on Tommy – you have as much right as Sophie to use the new cat tower; I’m sure your Woman didn’t buy it just for her.

Sophie, please let Tommy use the cat tower. He will be most grateful, I assure you.

Sharing as a cat means walking over to the cat who was originally there and shoving your face in their face before you squish right alongside the other cat and make yourself comfortable. :D

OT It’s been 3 months since Goose’s gothcha day! He’s doing much better with the scratching my legs. He snuggles more with me, even in bed. And the other day I even got kisses. Still can’t pick him up, but that day will come. He’s living the best life he’s ever had.

I’m torn between way to go Lupin (great angry face) or stay out of it Lupin!

Sophie: “Welllll … The question is, uh, vague!! … There are MANY cats named ‘Tommy’, and some MAY live in the nearby area! I’ll need more specifics. But in the meantime, I’m all nice and comfy right where I am now!” … :)

Fortunately, cats have a high boredom/novelty ratio. Tommy will get his turn.

I get that Tommy is very sweet and kind of obsequious. But, he needs to assert himself just a little.

I guess it is good Lupin will live on in breaking cat news but it is sad at the same time. The boy looks like he is developing a sense of justice.

No, it’s more a cat tower than an impenetrable fortress of solitude. You want more an impenetrable fortress of solitude, get a kitty condo with only one way in and out.
