I do EXACTLY that! Of course my sock drawer contains all white socks… I wore dark socks.. hm. Well I wore a pair “several” years ago. And I’ll be wearing the same pair in about a month for my grandson’s wedding. At his fiancee’s command.

Even with all white socks one has to be careful, or not care at all. We were getting ready to fly somewhere, I got one white sock with grey toe and heel, and one all white sock. I figure the only people who would know would be the TSA folks. Given the number of feet they see a day, I figured I was safe.

I don’t see a pattern in which topics he talks to Clyde about and what he saves for Opal.

When his wife finds out about this, he’ll learn about real danger!

Why make it easy when, with a little effort, one can make it exciting !

Wearing mismatched socks is a fashion among younger men these days. Often, the more clashing the combination, the better.

If at first you don’t succeed, skydiving is not for you…

I worked at a drive-in movie theater in 1972 that showed X-rated movies after midnight. The male actors weren’t nude, they wore black socks. Must have been some line they weren’t supposed to cross.

Really? Pearl doesn’t pair up the socks? There’s fantasy and then there’s the absurd.

Then there was traumatized week involving the wife’s fuxxy floral-patterned footie.

There’s a company called Bombas and I get my socks from them. (best socks ever!) They have different collections like cartoon characters, Pride or whatever. When I got some new ones earlier this year, I just saw the picture and ordered one pair, thinking I was getting two of the same design. Nope, one was purple and green and the the other was orange and yellow. This was part of their Pride collection. (When I’d clicked on the orange and yellow sock and nothing happened like ‘added to your cart’, I just assumed they were out of those.)I called customer service and found out the two color were deliberate! Since I like socks to match, I just ordered a second pair. I just took a look at their website and I see they have some new collections. I might need to get something.

Tried to get grand daughter to wear matching socks to school. She knew from an early age that she did not want to be like everyone else.

There’s another pair just like it in the drawer.

Earl is very philosophical….indeed!

I had a co-worker once that made it a point to wear miss-matched socks. Argyle with stripes, orange with green, etc. We looked forward to see what he would wear each day. Hmm, wonder if he still does that…

Why I buy gray socks.

My wife bought a bunch of white ones a few months back. She wondered when I would start wearing them. I explained it would happen just as soon as I wore out all the gray ones (or died, whichever came first, naturally).

My granddaughter always wears sox of two different colours.

just take out 3 socks… and you are assured of getting a pair that match.

I bought a package of six socks, all the same color, so I can’t go wrong there.

Or you could just roll each pair into one sock roll.
