I posted this late yesterday, but since the November page on the calendar features Cranberry Space Goo I thought I would post it again, only earlier, and perhaps share it with more members of the Orb. Ocean Spray has a new ad which features actual Cranberry Space Goo in action. If you go to You Tube and search for “Ocean Spray Power Your Holidays” you can see it. It was something I did not know I needed to see.
RSORTB! Rare Sighting of Rear Toe Beans! And they are Baba Mouse’s, and they are In-Your-Face style. Could this day get any better? Furious purring and all!
She should be grateful. I remember a practical joke pulled in college. We held two lit flashlights together and yelled, “Truck!” That’s about the level of when one guy stuck a frog in his roomie’s bed.
Baba Mouse is certainly feisty, and a force to be reckoned with. I love seeing this side of her – the wise, stern, yet grandmotherly type with a soft heart still has claws!
I figured Baba’s reaction yesterday was surprise rather than a desire to attack the Man, hilarious though it was. His look of concern calls to mind the face he made when realizing Tommy was the cat on the poster. There are more cats to save, People!
Baba is right. He could’ve been a train from her perspective. And she’s you know old and crotchety.
I also can’t blame the man for being crotchety. I used to but then I realized he has to deal with Elvis, who has batted him away from his own family about 80 times and can get mad at the drop of a hat, and Lupin, who destroys everything in his path. I love my own kitty just as he loves them, but it dosen’t mean he dosen’t aggrivate me, so I sympathize with the man. At least he has Puck and Goldie to ballance things out.. and iggy to ballance out Ora when they get them clearly.
Also don’t run away fellows.. both because those sweeties need a home.. and because I don’t want a repeat of goldie where we get a several month gap before they join the house. I was lucky enough to binge it but I can’t imagine what the wait was like.
Okay, it’s Wednesday and the cats have been rescued. Tomorrow the drama between the BCN team and the rescued cats begins. Friday the drama will come to a peak, words will be exchanged and challenges made. Saturday…………………….TUSSLEMANIA!!!!!
My husband and I found a tiny kitten in our horse pasture the other day. It’s now living in my bedroom. We guess it was about 3 weeks old. One of my friends is a kitten rehabber and is helping us to care for it. At first, we called it “lowercase cat” cause it only weighed about 8 ounces. We changed it to Pounce de Leon for its courage and drive to explore.
I hit the random button and ended up in an episode of Our IX lives where Paisley was reading Tarot cards for Angora. In her deck, Baba and Wicket were on “The Lovers” card.
I have a question on how Baba Mouse got that name? When I first heard about her a long time ago, I thought she was a mouse, a mother mouse. Forgive me for being ignorant.
To protect kittens, she would fight three trains – one at a time.
I have told the story of Monkey the Siamese, who, when suddenly confronted by two charging Labradors, charged right back at them with a snarling leap – “Die, sons of b——s!”
I don’t know if he was protecting me, the other two cats or was just angry at being unpleasantly surprised. The two dogs yelped, made instant U-turns and disappeared. Monkey just sat and groomed himself until the other two cats calmed down enough to rejoin us.
Please note that Monkey did not have to injure the dogs; he merely drove them away with the ferocity of his response.

Still looking for Iggy and Ora….where could they be? I wonder who calmed Baba?
McColl34 Premium Member about 2 years ago
Speaking of “other cats,” where are they hiding and how long will it take the . . . uh, often relatively clueless people to notice them?

Lupin standing there in his jammies, with his sound bite cracks me up!

Baba would fight a train. And Baba would WIN.

Baba may be able to take on a train, but the furious purrious belies a softer inside that only the woman is able to bring to the surface.

In an alternate universe, where Baba Mouse falls to the earth having traveled from the planet Kryton, she could indeed fight a train and WIN …

We believe you, Baba Mouse!

I admit I was confused yesterday as to why Baba Mouse was hissing … after all, she WANTED the new cats and the people to get together.

I’m with Baba. It’s a rude way to wake up.

At first I thought Baba’s tail was coming down from a poof, but I think it’s just that long and luxurious, similar to Burt’s.

Lupin’s reporting is biased in favor of The Man.

I’m wondering when the other CN reporters will catch on to what Beatrix said – " … me and those other cats …".

Would Baba let the Orb skritch her under her chin to help sooth her frazzled nerves?

Love how Baba lets The Woman pick her up and purrs. Not sure who else could do that.

Sure Baba Mouse. Seen folks who tried fighting a train. The result was always the same. Train 1, folks splattered all over the place.
