They already have the snow. Enough to even fashion a snowman of sorts. Apparently Janis is flipping out over actually breaking into the emergency supplies. Can’t have your pudding and eat it too, not to mention the eggs.

This year’s snow provisions come with a bourbon sauce.

Looks like the emergency is over, so you can eat your way back down until the next emergency/panic buying time comes.

Snow provisions? I live in the Upper Midwest, and I don’t think I’ve ever heard of such a thing outside the context of an emergency car kit for distance driving.

Maybe she’s afraid it’ll snow now.

Snow provisions should be things that won’t spoil. Milk and eggs are going to go bad if you don’t use them soon after purchasing them.

Thought you bought eggs, milk, and bread to make French toast when it snowed

Down here in AL we prepare for hurricane season, canned food, red wine.

Here in Northern Delaware it is not allowed to snow as long as there is still bread and milk in the grocery stores. So far this winter we have had zero snow.

The snowman outside is melting, so the snow emergency must be over.

The only snow provision missing is bananas

How can you have any pudding if you don’t eat your meat?!!!

The beauty of having my own chickens is, if I eat eggs today, there will be more tomorrow.

We have a box of dried beans, rice, etc, for the next time the supply chain goes haywire

It does not snow every day. When it isn’t snowing ( like tomorrow) go get more.

My wife doesn’t like bread pudding, so I never make it.

snow provisions have to be boxed or canned. Fresh eggs and bread and milk should be enjoyed fresh. Save me a scoop, please. I haven’t had a good bread pudding in a long time

Obviously Arlo is dreamer oblivious to seasons.

Bread, milk and eggs are all perishable. Why wouldn’t he use them to make something to eat? Janis is not very smart most of the time.

I have lived in places where storm kits were needed, that is why I retired to San Diego.

You can run to the store and buy more milk,bread, and chips

We have a local bread company that makes chocolate cherry bread for Valentines Day, so I’ll be making chocolate bread pudding soon. I guess I should stock up on extra snow provisions.

JJ has officially run out of ideas. Not as funny or clever as it used to be.

When I was a kid, many years ago, stores sold out of bread, milk and eggs whenever a snow storm was forecast. Had to shop early.

Bread Pudding = Snow Provisions

Let them eat bread pudding. :-)

I started provisioning before Covid for an earthquake. Still do.

So buy some more tomorrow, or next spring when you throw out what you didn’t use
