Healing a broken heart can take a lot of time.

Not only does it take a long time, but unfortunately, it hardens.

It will never be the same.

It takes time, but it is not the time that does the healing. It is accomplished only when one chooses to heal.

And how is Pig alive if his heart outside his body and broken? What other organ be pumping blood into his veins?

It’s like a glass plate, little buddy. It takes a long time to put back together, but the cracks will forever be there. This alone prevents many from taking it back out of the proverbial cupboard again, but when you find the right person? It’s worth it.

Sure looks like a bad case. Usually it is just broken into seventeen pieces, even then it can take a long time so Pig should maybe get therapy, or at the very least he should talk about his heartache with friends.

…. I know I’ve got to find some kind of piece of mind, maybe….

You know your heart is truly shattered when you can listen to an opera and it makes sense.

(sigh) Mine broke, the pieces got kicked around, dried up, and blew away. Makes my current relationship strange and tricky.

Go to bed and eat ice cream…..or in Pig’s case, cheese.

Some take longer than others….go home and have a cup of Chamomile tea and take a nap! Things will seem better as the days go on…..one day at a time!

Um, had Pig even met the woman who “broke” his heart, prior to three days ago? I don’t remember seeing her here before. That seems less like love than infatuation or even stalking—in which case, I don’t think she owes him more than the polite “sorry, not interested” that she gave him yesterday, and I do think he’s being a bit of a drama queen.
