The mystery of why Bets left Gunther has been solved… she saw him in his Cleaning Belt. ;)

So I guess the party’s over (in more ways than one), and no Bets explosion took place. Good! And even better, no wedding dress contest for Luann. So there’s hope yet that she is still not part of a couple, and the ‘toon isn’t ending. (I hope…)

The Sunday strip (most of them do it) doesn’t follow the story in progress. I suspect the Monday strip will continue the party.

That Gunther has an apron with pockets for all his cleaners is disturbing. And did he just spurt oven cleaner into the air instead of fragrance? That’s a-h-h-h, pretty toxic. He’ll want to clean that up immediately.

My beloved tried killing roaches with a can of Great Stuff Foam. She had sprayed several ere realizing her error.

Punk gets my vote. Now, back to the party, please, it’s just starting to get interesting.

How cute to see Punk make the same disgusted expression as Les. They are both disgusted by the oven cleaner that Gunther accidentally sprayed. Les may still have flaws, but I can’t help but appreciate someone who loves the cat so much, especially if the cat loves him back. Les is pretty much a big cat himself. Maybe a day he will find someone that really loves cat like him.

Why are they wearing heeled dress shoes for cleaning day?

Not only does Gunther have a tool belt filled with cleaning supplies, but in one of the pockets is oven cleaner? Can’t remember the last time I picked up a can. This is a bit much even for him.

No wonder Bets left Gunther. He’s such a blockhead.

This analysis though… truly, Gunther would be a perfect match for Bernice! Though I pity the rest of the world… Still, I’m wondering if that happened, what kind of comics would we get with the two of them, who would “win” in the interactions between them etc… (but please, no comics of the two of them talking to other people)!

When Knute cleans the toilets, even those of strangers, it’s “okay.”

Even admirable.

But when Gunther’s a clean-freak, some “folks” always have something nega-tory to say.

Actually I HOPE Gunny is wearing his utility clean-up belt under that “sign” tomorrow.

He need it to clean-up, the mess (and evidence) after a certain young lady goes Berserk, and trashes the manse. ;-)

Gunther is still a geeky, mama’s boy with anger issues. But I do like his cleaning belt with everything he needs close at hand. He will be a good engineer. I like efficiency.

You only get the real smell of clean from actual clean . Cat dander has almost no odor because predators in the wild don’t eat when they have a strong odor.
