Tiffany did a good job figuring out what was going on a few minutes earlier, but Luann isn’t all ’I’m here to help’ with what Gunther needs right this minute…

So in conclusion, Luann likes fries so much that she will eat another person’s leftovers. Gunther is positive about one thing. He has to go to the bathroom. Who will be featured on Monday? We are due for a Brad and Toni arc.

The writers must have felt things were getting too heavy and decided to lighten things up with some stupid. Since Bernice is still here I guess that means six more weeks of winter, er, I mean aimless talking

2 weeks of this social experiment is long enough. Can we just move on!!!!

Gunther is sad he cannot finish his fries because he is short of time.

Luann is comforting him with the knowledge that she will help pick up slack and eat them for him.

Tiffany’s being Tiffany. “In case you don’t understand what’s going on, Bernice, I’ll give you the low down on it”. BTW, the fries couldn’t be that good if Gunther didn’t finish his. They looked burned earlier when he was eating them.

Come on now Tiff, you should know by now that the only person Luann wants to help or cares about is herself.

Hilarious. That’s how rumors get started. This should skew Bernice’s results.

Looks like Luann wants to be his shoulder to cry on, and the person to finish his french fries.

Tiffany’s ability to read body language seems to match Bernice’s talent as a psychologist. I like the idea of seeing these two inventing absurd stories observing what Luann and Gunther do. It would be funny if it continue next week, making up more and more dramatic dialogues and ending up forgetting or completely overturning Bernice’s project. Maybe Ox, Jack and Les will join the group to say what they think they’re saying.

I’m thinking that maybe Greg and Karen are working on a new project, a novella called “Bets does Las Vegas.” Please tone down the applause, I have a hearing deficit.

Gunner you’re a pathetic loser, move on to new story line

Tiffany’s perception and the reality she sees differ, but I say not really. She’s right, Gunther is those things about Bets, but he’s able to discuss it with his old friend Luann, who serves the role Tiff perceives here, but panel 3 is a punch line panel, and closer to an ironic conclusion after their discussion than it might appear.

Well, Tiffany could be right but I’d hope that little Gunthie doesn’t need help going to the potty. Either way, she was correct about Luann. Luann is doing all she can to HELP him finish off the rest of his fries.

Already prepared for the inevitable heat from this:

When she is comfortable enough around him, as if when on a date. Yes, it rhymes.

There is something there, with Lu & Gun; always has been. It’s just going to go through a re-shaping and redefinition phase. Luann will have to confront her own feelings about the guy, and Bernice will be there to assist in the analysis. If there is indeed a meeting of the hearts and minds between L&G, it will be positive, healthy and perhaps even enviable. The “When Harry Met Sally” parallels continue.

For Gunther, the only way to determine a possible romantic interest is the Girl Eating The Fries Ceremony. When will he learn that if she takes your fries, it’s just not going to work out?

Lol! Cute. Tiffany is usually more on target. But there are French fries to consider! ;-))Wonder if we’ll ever know what grade Bernice gets on this project. Onward…..

Just goes to show how easily “body language” can be misinterpreted! Tiff is a day late and a dollar short with her analysis. She would have been on target had she arrived a bit earlier.

Tiffany you couldn’t read the contents on a soup can

I hope they meet the new roommate—-a beautiful and kind engineering student who sweeps Gunther off his feet. I’d also be happy with a Brad and Toni story—-maybe decorating for Halloween or doing a Haunted House at the fire station for a fall festival fund raiser. Shannon would have a ball participating in THAT. Or they could all go to the costume store to find Shannon a Halloween outfit and they all wind up trying on great costumes. It would be a good lead up to Halloween. Is anyone out there dressing up this year? Any other big overgrown kids or am I the only one????

I agree -a Halloween event at the Fuse would be fun. When did they stop having entertainment/events/plays there? (NO I’m not talking about Ann E. lingerie party).

It’s a set-up, expressly intended to make Tiffany look bad. The “true read” in panel 3 is more of a stretch than Tiff’s read! Be that as it may, I hope this concludes Bernie’s experiment….

Gunther, not sad and confused, seems to have sorted out the situation and his feelings on his own w/o help from Luann.
