Any shot that it’s a raspberry bush?
Wren doing her impression of Bill the Cat.
I just now notice that the colorist likes to twin Zoe and Wren. Both are in the same pink shirt and blue pants except that Wren is in an overall.
I’m all for giving the baby of the family a voice, but Wren also chose peek-a-boo for family game night.
The hole is considerably larger now. But Darryl is still standing instead of lying down on a heating pad.
I call our tree tree.
Love trees and plants. More of them needed. In the cartoon Imagine This by Lucas Turnbloom there is a talking plant.
“A tree by any other name is still a tree”! (this is more like a sapling)!
Allowing a toddler to assign names is always risky. That’s how a former coworker of mine found herself with a dog named 789 and a cat named Washcloth.
So you regret putting that tree up?
Nice planting job, Darryl. I like the well around the tree for watering purposes.
Looks like Wren got into the green Halloween candy right before naming the tree.
Because people always include newly planted trees on holiday cards…
Planted just as I described the other day!
(patting myself on my back furiously!)
Me and my friend Teddy named every shrub and tree in my yard. The two trees were “Gertrude” and “Oscar.”
No Wren, it’s not a raspberry tree. Although if raspberries did grow on trees, it would make them a lot easier to pick.
Boys provide a valuable family service that often goes unappreciated. (we don’t know what that service is, but everybody hopes Hammie gets it figured out soon. )
Just add some vowels or at least some vowel sounds when you say it.
Peebb-bith.
When did a tree become a family member.
Well pbbbth, Wren.
Why? You just spelled it in 2 panels.
Just look at the word bubbles: “Pbbbth!” There you go. (Darn, petermerck beat me to it by 17 minutes.)
Eating blue raspberry candy . . . ?
What type of tree did they choose?
Maybe Wren left out a few consonants and all the vowels: PrettyBaByBirTcH
(along with imperfect speleng)
I assume Pbbbth will use a nickname at Entmoots.
Is “Pbbbth” spelled correctly?
Just wondering which end that name came out of?
I love the idea of giving the tree a name.
I think that I shall never see….something with worse names than a tree
Well, I sure hope they remembered to remove the burlap. If they didn’t, they won’t have to worry about remembering Pbbbth’s name very long.
Wren’s tongue is blue. Therefore, Wren gave the tree a “blue raspberry.”
