If all theyâre going to do is think and pray, they should give up their seat for someone who might actually try to solve. Thinking and praying would be as helpful with them in the unemployment line.
The same people who complain the most about Big Government are the same ones who expect the public schools to teach their kids manners and hygiene, and to have 911 show up in thirty seconds or less.
âKâ in Franz Kafkaâs ijustmadeitup first-draft of âThe Trialâ finally gets past the Gate Keeper Before the Law â and makes an additional frustrating discovery. The less depressing final version:
A huge tax on ammunition might slow down some of the mass murderers. Something on the order of $10 per round, and keep adjusting it so it tracks the cost of living index.
Mislabeled. That should be Office of Useless Republican Politicians. (FEMA has itâs problems, but they sure are busy- esp in republican lead states after disasters.)
âWe the peopleâ does not mean individual people but people of the US as a whole. Likewise, âthe right of the people to keep and bear Armsâ is not talking about individuals (although itâs been interpreted to be a possible meaning) â it means our government has a right to have a standing army/militia. If we can vote in people who can stand up to the whole mis-definition of the âright of individuals to own gunsâ, weâll finally have a chance to stop the mass shootings.
Thoughts and prayers will NOT prevent the return of the Orange Insurrectionist. Only the actions of those who value our democracy can save the country from the disease that is Trumpism. The country united to defeat COVID-19 and now we must unite again to defeat Trump-2024.
More congresspeople are touring Marjorie Douglas High School today to demonstrate that they are serious about addressing the issue of school shootings. They are not serious.

We have plenty of Gun Laws on the books. Chicago, for example, has some of the toughest gun laws. They seem to be working really well there. Criminals and other bad people will be the only persons with guns. How good is that going to work? Itâs NOT the gun itâs the person! Enforce the laws we have. No more slaps on the wrist for violators.
