Most all 19 year olds are a blank slate and full of potential.. with their whole life ahead of them. Nobody is going to pay $500 to hear that..

This whole arc has been dumb.

Out of Bets mouth “It’s all about money” this grand scheme of there’s !!

When did Bets start wearing Tiffany’s work uniform? Is this really the end, or have they been encourage to pick on someone else?

Again, the point of branding is what and who cares?

They already offered Luann free service as a guinea pig. Now Bets expects to be paid?

Of course Luann would end up convincing herself that her utter boringness was actually a good thing.

Nope, Bets. Not worth paying. Hopefully Luann gets a little smarter and tells Bets she was their beta subject therefore she was not a customer.

I would like to see Luann start filling out that blank slate. I have wondered why she isn’t involved in her parents’ business in any way. Since she enjoys theater, writing, and children why not have her involved in children’s theater at the Fuse?

No, it’s not!! And I fear this arc will continue into next week.

The assignment was to show a bran before and after. Luann isn’t the brand. It’s Batubs. The before is the approach they tried on Luann. Luann is the after approach.

I know it is extremely difficult to keep writing for so many years, but please do not let this arc go for another week. I feel sorry for the kids today if this is what they have to put up with.

I’m really curious to see how Luann will use that slate. Probably writing down the various goals she have in a place she can always see them. That can be very motivating! I like this Luann full of enthusiasm and determination, let’s hope she can resist Bernice’s “jokes” and other adversities. Luann needed to feel encouraged by Tiffany and Bets to discover her potential, unfortunately those close to her never seem to really believe in her. Except Puddles, of course.

Perhaps it’s worth paying for…paying for them not to bother you.

I wonder if they can recreate the series of their mistakes to have another success.Maybe change their major or minor in counseling! ;-))

Tiff starts to say “that’s not a brand”; but sure it is; anything can be a brand. Luann’s brand right now is a blank slate and hopefully it will become something else. But her approach to anything is to make lists of things that are (usually) never realized. i worry that this will become like her New Year’s resolutions i.e. things put on a piece of paper (or whiteboard) and that’s it; they stay there. As for Bets’ comment, she’s not asking Luann to pay up, she just wants to know if there’s something marketable (saleable) in all of this.

This is appallingly bad: such a cop out! How is “a blank slate” a “brand”? This is self-contradictory. Clearly, Greg and Karen had no way out of this feeble arc and just ran it off a cliff. When is the writing going to improve?

A really brilliant idea would be to dump the current storyline.

Why should Luann endorse Betts and Tiffany’s (re)branding scheme?All they did was to help her see that she’s yet to be molded, her life awaits.

If she is dumb enough to pay them, her new brand will be “Gullible”. The two of them will then take off for a lucrative career as corporate consultants.

“Brand”? Overblown, pompous word that arrogant, low self-esteem people blather about. It’s your reputation, not your “brand” and only you can build your own reputation. Luann has it right. She’s not living in a Tic Tok world.

I hope this is the last of this arc because I’m now interested in what Les is doing.

I like how Bet’s eyes light up at the mention of money. That the true spirit of free enterprise, greed.
