If he ever saw the Orange Baboon, Popeye’s pal Wimpy would swear off hamburgers forever! BTW, Biden has been castigated for his poor performance in last week’s debate. But really—he didn’t have to say anything, as every word from Trump’s big mouth was a lie! I hope the Democrats will realize that. And if anyone is too old to hold public office, it’s Mitch McConnell!

The sad thing is, millions and millions of Americans think it would be an honor. Fortunately, fewer and fewer of the ones remaining are anything resembling competent attorneys. Most of THOSE still want to be paid what they’re worth.

Lie, cheat, steal, it’s the only things that Trump knows how to do. With a fair bit of treason thrown in. Did they find all the missing documents yet?

Following on the debate I think Trudeau should get a tighter loop on publication… This one feels too detached from the current situation.

Anyway, my take is that Biden blew it about as badly as possible. Most important thing would have been to go on the offensive by raising the issue of withdrawing from the race first. Biden should have emphasized the possibility “for the good of the county” and contrasted his situation against the orange buffoon’s position, where the only question is “What’s in it for me?”

If Biden had set it up properly, then he would now be positioned to consider withdrawing as an undefeated champion who knew when to quit. But if he steps out now, he’s the loser and the taint goes on to the Democratic Party and then to the death of democracy in America and the end of Ben’s republic. Great sadness.

At least the fake Republicans won’t be able to demonize Biden the way they handled Hillary. Sure, Hillary was never a demon or any kind of witch, but Biden really is an old guy—and actually doing the job of president has made him much older. TFG golfed and “executive timed” his way through the entire four years and you’d be hard-pressed to prove he even had a day job at the time.

Why Care About The Ignorant and Poor?

It occurred to me that many of us left of center who are Boomers spent a lot of time and money (through donations) to support ideas, practices and non-profits that protect an uneducated primal self-centered population. That population predominantly gravitates toward authoritarianism and the belief that a “strong daddy” will protect and care for them.

I have come to realize that I am at an age that because of being a “life long earner”, as many readers here are, deferring reward and gratification, and financial planning, I should have enough to make it to a natural end before the brown shirts could come for me. No guarantee admittedly.

The continual proliferation of weapons in the country combined with “christian” nationalism topped with SCROTUS decisions like the recent overturning of Chevron (a one judge decision can throw out an administrative agency’s regs designed by engineers and scientists) will enable the RWNJs. They will now systematically destroy the lower classes ability to accumulate wealth, live safely and healthily, and maintain a democratically controlled strong economy. The Robber Barons have returned.

The left’s answer is to permit the bedwetters to continue to call for the removal of the man who, despite congressional obstacles, has produced one of the strongest presidencies in the country’s history. They don’t focus on the felon who lies every time he speaks and the continual forcing of their religious dogma and mythology upon us.

So, although I will still support President Biden, I find no reason to be concerned about poverty, educational opportunities, the environment and any other “bleeding heart” cause. As the barbarians incessantly ram the gates, nobody seems to be able to persuade some of us that it is not a good idea to hunker in the bunker, save all resources we have for ourselves and make it to a secure uneventful ending…which may arrive due to a lack of basic healthcare, clean water and air

The Roman Republic lasted 482 years. The American Republic? 180 years (1783 – Nov 22, 1963). I wonder who the first American Emperor will be. Maybe William J. Burns.

Well, not exactly BANNED, since it is a voluntary organization. They’ve left it. There are 24 states plus DC in Eric. The last one to leave was over a year ago.

ERIC keeps track of people moving, and registering, from one state to another. I Iive in Michigan in summer and Florida in the winter. Where do I vote? ERIC makes sure I only vote once. How is that bad?

Trump hires toadies like this guy and then wonders why he keeps losing in court? It does not take a rocket scientist (or anyone with an above room temperature IQ) to know that you get what you (don’t) pay for.

Of late all the American people have heard about the debate concerning Biden’s poor performance. But they haven’t said anything about Trump’s constant lies about, well everything.

We need a ‘toon that exposes Trump’s lies…you know, everything he said except for “and” and “the”

The Supreme Court will wait until the last minute of the session to declare 5-4 Trump has total immunity for every crime he committed in the last ten years. Those 5 will hide at Mar-A-Lago until Trump declares the election a fake and a better organized and armed January 6 protest confirms his win.
