I wonder if Stephan has been watching the 70s ”Kung Fu” lately. It’s on the “Outlaw” channel. This has a definite Master Po feel to it.

Some truths are so necessary, they have to be repeated almost 35 years from different wise stages, for me, I first heard this same truth in 1990 from Doc Brown from the BTTF trilogy, today, a new human being will hear the same thing from this comic strip when the WISEASS ON THE HILL says it!!!! “The more things change, the more they stay the same, in other words, history will ALWAYS repeat itself…” Dan aka…

I know several red states where they swear there’s no past. That’s why they’ve banned teaching history. Of course, they probably don’t have much future either. You can tell because the insurance companies are pulling out.

I think both Newsweek and Time wrote short articles on global cooling. So I am not sure calling them urban myths is fair because they were mainstream media at the time. It does support the idea that, then and now, unproven theories from scientists are not science. We do have evidence that the world is getting warmer. The disagreement is why and how we can address it (if that’s even possible)

Monday is Canadian Thanksgiving. Yesterday I had dinner with extended family and, as Wise A$$ says, hugged my loved ones. Today I have dinner with my oldest friend and his extended family. Tomorrow, Thanksgiving Day, I will go to my sister and hold her cats while she trims their nails.

    Puddy tats need loving, too.

There is no present, there is no future, there is only the past. By the time your brain notices something it’s already in the past. It’s believed that when the Titan submersible imploded on the way to see the Titanic, its passengers’ brains did not even have time to register the event. BTW, what were they thinking calling the company Ocean Gate which conjures up memories of Watergate and Heavens’ Gate, neither making for pleasant associations.
