Unfortunately, the job didn’t work out. Standing for long hours and doing repetitive tasks put immense strain on my back and put me into excruciating pain. Above all, recruiters calls were coming in and I couldn’t answer them. I left the job after only four days and my back thanks me (although it will probably take a few days before the pain goes away).

So, I’m back, and ready to add some more punderful jokes to the chat…

The smol cats are on the case now! So never mind “time to clean the carpets”…. It’s time to save the adults…..They always seem to need saving. Another reason why I will never grow up.

Hmm. Trevor is asleep, not trying to clean something. If he can be woken up, would he want to clean? Is this affecting him differently because he is a dog? Is this strangeness only affecting the BPH?

More data is needed!

omg I just found this comic after like 30 min of scouring the internet. I remember reading this comic like sevenish years ago back in the third grade bc I had just had a dream about puck even though I haven’t read it in like five years. I remember all the old Christmas specials with the robber mice and the laundry chute debacle and loving this comic so much. I can’t believe there are so many new characters!

OT: Construction

Ths morning I woke up and realized our carpets needed cleaning. Again.

I wonder how the Robber Mice will react. I can’t picture them being under the Roomba from Space spell.

Love how it takes both OZ and Iggy to dial the phone.

New theory on the ensorcellment (borrowing that awesome phrase from another poster here) based on a slightly larger data set: Adults who are awake at the time of contact become entranced. Adults who are asleep at time of contact remain asleep, at least for now… Children are immune and left to save the world.

I forget who predicted it, but they were right. It looks like the kittens will be the heroes in this adventure.

Breaking Cat News started appearing in my local paper a year or so ago, on Sundays. I was so disappointed when they dropped it, along with a lot of other good strips. But they actually did me a favor because by dropping it I came here and learned that it is published every day. I’m having so much fun reading all the past strips and their stories. I love this strip!!
