When one is . . . fluffy . . . and wearing a snowsuit, one must waddle.

Now it’s time for Tommy to waddle across the yard, back inside and be blanketed by cuddles, scritches and belly rubs. We can all take turns rubbing that fluffy belly.

Crunching is fine, it’s the squeaking I don’t like. That means it’s single digits or below (Fahrenheit).

A steady sleet is falling here now in League City, TX.

At 16:39 it’s 29 here. But expecting a high of 35 tomorrow.

7° and clear here in B-town, we got a light dusting of snow yesterday morning and a high of 23°. Tonight’s low down to 0°, tomorrow’s high 5° if we’re lucky and a low of 1° tomorrow night. Wednesday’s high 23 again with a 15% chance of More Snow and -1 for the low, up to 30° and 26% by Thursday. Stay inside, hug your cat, have some more cocoa. The furnace is out. We’re testing/fixing it.

I had a cat that would go crazy about snow, here in the SE that was a rare occurrence. He loved to gaze up at it and would meow at it as it fell. When there’s snow in the forecast I really miss him!

They are gonna get snow in TX and LA and I doubt they find it a good thing. I’m up north and I’m not very happy when it snows either. But a couple of inches is okay. LA is getting a BLIZZARD warning and it may be the first time.

What’s Tommy going to find in his coverage of the snowy news? Something? Someone?

I feel very sorry for anybody who has to venture outside in this cold. Except for Robin. He’s gloating about the warmth. I don’t feel sorry for him.

As I hear how cold some of you are, I will not complain about my 10 degrees I woke up to.

Snow crunch? Me never knews.

Boy, is this comic out of touch with reality. Cats willfully out in the snow. Give me a break.

Our cats are indoor cats, however each of them gets one chance to venture outside after they come into our family. Always in winter and always when there is snow on the ground, or in our case, the deck. NEVER has any of them ventured more than two steps on the cold, wet, white stuff before they dart back inside shaking their paws to get the remnants of that cold wet stuff off.

They have never wanted to be out in the cold, wet, white stuff after that either. Cats hate snow more than old people do.

Our snow/sleet was last week, thank goodness. Now just COLD! Hate it!!

Snow on the ground in Central Texas. I am working from home today, and I’m not sure about tomorrow either. But I have running water and the power (and internet) is on, so this is not yet Snowmageddon like a few years back.

-12 in Plymouth Wisconsin. Feels like -30. Usually head up to the laundry room about now but I’m going to wait til this afternoon when the temp will be -2.

That’s the most iconic of snows, that. :D

we’re up to minus7 at 1 PM. It was 16 below this morning, the van wouldn’t start but I got it going using the starting boost on my 40 year old battery charger.

I hate snow. I hate cold. But at least it might not snow here.

That crunching is either my knees or the ice. Either way, it’s not pleasant.

Tommy looks a bit different today.

I’m wondering if those little squiggles in front of Tommy are a couple of disgruntled-by-snow small animals. Moles, maybe?

I’m in Saint Louis, Missouri. I’ll take your warm 35 and give you our 4 degrees for the night. It snowed a week ago last Thursday and we still have snow because it’s too d@@#& cold to melt. Luckily I have piddle pads for my dog; she went out to bark at the neighbor, then ran back inside and used the piddle pad. She’s a girl and small, and it’s too cold to squat and do her ‘business.’

It’s not really cold until the snow squeaks when you walk on it. It’s -18C here, which appears to be 0F.

Well, it looks like something froze at the GC headquarters. The update for the 22nd is about 20 minutes late as I type this. I haven’t checked the other comics I read yet, but BCN is definitely late.
