I like to listen to music while I’m working on my PC, mostly random rock from the 60’s and 70’s. This evening/morning I happened to hear “Abraham, Martin and John” by Dion. What a treat that was (I hadn’t heard it in years) and I immediately thought of this week’s Lincoln arc. The key phrase of the song being “it seems the good, they die young”…

Lincoln once said, “I am in favor of animal rights as well as human rights. That is the way of a whole human being.” We need more people like this now.

Now I want to see Lincoln sitting beside Dr. Seuss’ Cat in the Hat. Hurray for tall hats!

I guess someone got that hat on Elvis after all.

They finally got Elvis to wear a tall hat… but he doesn’t look happy about it at all.

One kitten needs a grammar lesson. “Who/whoever” is the subject of the verb.“Who shall save us?” “Whoever is that?”“Whom” is the object of the verb, and after prepositions.“Whom shall we save?” “By whom were you saved?”

I have read many books about Abraham Lincoln and I am grateful he had cats of his own to love him. Thank you for this wonderful presentation by the kittens.

I love the increasingly dramatic mews in panel 3.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!! So cute! (๑′ᴗ‵๑) “He saved our great nation and those three kittens.” I ❤️ it! I never knew any of this about President Lincoln, and I already thought he was great before this arc. He’s even more great now. Thanks Georgia!

Oh, mew. Is that kitty talk for, “Oh, behave.?” ( But you have to say it with an Austin Powers style accent.)

Of course Ora Zella throws in a bit of drama with her “mews.”

For a moment I thought we were morphing into “Three Little Kittens” territory with the dramatic “mews.”

Go Elvis! Rockin the stove-pipe hat!

Georgia, I am going to be quoting, “He saved our nation and those three kittens!”

I pray that all may add “and saved three kittens” to our lives’ accomplishments.

Stories like these would make learning history in school more fun. And kudos to Lincoln!
