1) Why Luann doesn’t have a boyfriend.

2) Why Gunther gave up on her.

3) Why Lu’s date pic dates failed miserably.

4) Why Jack hasn’t made a move.

The sad part is, Luann was far more mature in high school.

One more thing.

Luann? Get a leash for your pooch.

I like seeing Luann owning her (over)reaction. She was honest and named the reason too. Changing an old habit will be a longer process, I know. But thank goodness for self awareness!

What a strange turn of phrase, to take an unpleasant feeling and put “gasm” on the end. That’s not how “gasms” feel, Evanses.

OK Luann, since Jack can not see Puddles maybe now you can have one of your “stressgasms” and this time it will be justified. Mordy in his post above is right about Luann, she was a heckuva lot more mature in high school on almost all fronts except when it was concerning Aaron Hill where the retro Luann Again from 1994 just completed an arc where Lu had to retrieve a love letter she put in Aaron’s locker (which she got back despite Gunther and Tiff getting in her way) and then she got mad that he did not even read it…… Brad grew up and Luann did not. I was hoping for a spark of romance for Luann here but it looks like Jack will simply help her out again as he usually does; dependable guy and good friend but doubtful there is a potential romance here though it would liven the strip up a bit.

Since Luann went to the dog park, and IF she brought Puddles with her, where is he? Surely we cannot have the same dog go missing two weeks in a row, so I guess she did not bring him.

Cripes, I hate it when that happens, it does this every time. Anyone else get a headache when you go through a time warp?

Given that Luann is, well … Luann …. did she even remember to bring Puddles in the first place?

The previous time it was all an overreaction with great fear but without real danger. Now, that even Jack doesn’t see Puddles, it could be something serious… PUDDLES NOOOOOOO!!!!!

The only reason she’s at the dog run is to flirt with Jack.

This is the second time team Evans added -gasms to the end of a word. Not a fan.

We have a word ending in gasm, and I dig Jack’s expression in that panel. Have we got some chemistry brewing here?

Evidently, when Puddles gets the chance, he reverts back to the wolf in himself.

Panel 3 is strangely jarring.

I was wondering if posing Puddles again was the setup and apparently it is; setup for what then is the question.

But Puddles wasn’t shown with LuAnn yesterday. I would say more a normal case of her forgetting him at home. If she ever has children, heaven for bid she takes them in a car on a warm sunny day.

I think the only on lost here is Luann. Maybe with some luck, some young stud will come along pick her up and take her home with him.

She didn’t overreact. She was showing her endless maternal love for her dog and being a responsible pet owner.

If Puddles is not there, Luann did not bring him, on purpose. Jeez people!

Interesting bunch of theories. I gotta say it seems really implausible to me that Luann would be at the dog park without Puddles, deliberately or otherwise, and whether or not she wanted to see Jack. (Not that implausible plot devices are exactly unheard of.) It’s only Tuesday, so my guess is Puddles will remain missing until he turns up in some hilariously unexpected way on Friday, and all’s well that ends well on Saturday.

Obviously Luann is not ready for children!

To everyone who thinks Luann didn’t bring Puddles to the dog park – get real! Even Luann (the stupidest girl in the world) wouldn’t go to the dog park without a dog. And Greg – Karen – no thank you for this type of story. I don’t need a gut wrench first thing in the morning. It looks like you guys are getting cheap and going for the shock and awe with your missing pets and your "gasms storylines. Really Bad Style.

I really hate the word “stressgasm”. It makes absolutely no sense because it strings two totally opposite things together—-one positive and the other negative. If this is now a word it shouldn’t be. If it’s common slang that’s one thing. But if the Evans’ made it up it’s a mess of a word.

Korean restaurants should not be allowed to operate so close to a dog park.

I looked up “stressgasm” in the urban dictionary. Ugh!!! Its for real. It’s still a cringeworthy word though. Hope it doesn’t become a common part of our everyday language. Very surprised to hear Luann using it since she doesn’t ordinarily use urban slang.

I have a dog but I usually leave her at home if I go to the dog park. She is not good with other dogs and I may go to the park to visit with a friend who has a dog. It is enjoyable seeing the other dogs play while I talk to a friend.

I suggest NO ONE ever go to Urban Dictionary. You will see many disgusting things and wish you had brain bleach to remove them.

Question. Why if you hate a strip do you keep reading it and commenting on it?

And it’s only Tuesday. Plenty of time to develop this arc.

The use of the “word” stressgasm was jarring. And stupid. I never heard anyone use this term. Not even from the teens I teach.

We’ve been given no reason to believe she had Puddles with her at the park.

Hopefully Puddles hasn’t been abducted by some bratty kid who wants a doggy and has a Mommy who never tells him no.

Gunther saved Puddles from being turned into a speed bump. Will it be Jack’s turn to rescue Puds? It didn’t work out well for the G-man. Somehow I believe Jack’s prospects are about to improve.
