Finally FINALLY we get down to something. Nice dialog. But Kip in a speedo. I thought speedos were the swim gear of gay guys. Wouldn’t that be a kick to Tif. And Stef would be his ‘beard.’ (ha ha).

Bernice should absolutely know what kip in a speedo looks like considering how much time he spent in the privacy shack.

I can see a couple of ways this could blow up in everybody’s face. Kip could drop Stef not for Tiff but for Luann. Or worse still, for Bernice.

Luann knows Tiffany so well to understand things about her that maybe Tiffany herself don’t knows or wants to admit. For this very reason a conversation between the two could be important to help Tiffany understand what she’s doing and why. Let’s hope this will also continues in the pool. Bernice for now seems not only an unnecessary presence, but also a rather creepy one. The role of the noosy maniac who shameless spies on others from her window fits her too perfectly.

How is it that the price tag on Tiff’s swimsuit is the same color as Bernice’s frump-wear?

When I read the comments every morning under this strip, I get the visual of several old men sitting in a group in a nursing home, waving their canes in the air and all complaining about different things loudly.

Funny third frame. Kip is really not trying to attract attention, but he is getting it, anyway. Luann hasn’t joined the Manse’s Birdwatch Society. Thumbs up to those who predicted the pool-party poopers were not going to be there after all.

We all know that Tif wants Kip to stare, but I’m not sure how having a new bathing suit demonstrates that.

Tiff, since you want him to admire you, while you openly ogle him, wouldn’t a two piece be better bait? Bernice finally has a clue what Tif uses those binoculars for. And, since Luann has known that this “pool party” is just an excuse for some mutual ogling, when is she going to change out of her cover up? Bernice will never get around to it.

Was Kip invited to the party? What’s going to happen if he leaves to go get a bite to eat or maybe a trip to the gym? Will the pool party end? These questions and more will be answered next week.

Odd. Bernice makes snarky remarks and people complain. Luann makes snarky remarks and people applaud.

I still say that one of them should take a photo commemorating the event and share it with Stef to see her head explode in a ballistic surge of rage. I’m curious about how much longer the summer storyline will go on since college students are going back to school in a week.

Also I wonder if Tiffany lied about inviting more people than these two to the party. I feel like classic Tiff would have figured that she’d be the pretty one compared to Luann and Bernice and Kip would stare at her in lieu of other options?

I say go for it Tiff, you and Kip do have chemistry and would make an awesome couple. Luann would probably treat him like a belonging instead of a person like how she treated Quill and Bernice has lord only knows how many issues.

By the time Tiff finishes primping and dithering, Kip will have finished his swim and gone back in the pool house.

Oh Please Tiff, you don’t feel safe??? Give me a break; you wanted him to move in for the summer… so that you WOULD feel safe; you’re constantly staring at him (not the other way around). Fortunately you cannot pull the wool over Luann’s eyes.

I find Tiff’s comment “It’s about feeling safe” an interesting choice of words since the reason Kip is there is to keep her from worrying about the rock-throwing intruder returning. (I hope that came out okay.)

Maybe Kip’s speedos have a price tag hanging on them, also.

Kip is the quarterback of a college football team. He has his teammates so Tiffany should tell him to invite them to the party. Then maybe they would actually have some fun, if they don’t wreck the place!

Tiffany is becoming my favorite character. She has seduced me.

I see we’re repeating the “girl invites boy to stay with her, but invokes the whole ‘I don’t feel safe’ thing even though she’s the one drooling over him” thing we already saw with Bernice and Piro.

What will happen tomorrow? Will Kip find out that Tiffany has been spying on him? Will Stef show up? Will Mr. Farrell pop up? Will Luann or Bernice open their big fat mouths and tell Kip everything?

Ha! Way to go Bernice! She’s the only one who’s actually checking out what all the fuss is about! In a minute we’re going to have all three of them at the window fighting over the binoculars, and Kip wondering wth?

In a time when super-skimpy beach styles are the norm, if Tiff wants to seduce Kip, shouldn’t she be wearing a thong bikini with triangle tops? That one-piece she’s in wouldn’t get a second look on most beaches and she’s at her own pool where she’s totally free to make the best use of her assets!

Guess I was right about us never getting to see the party, if only because there is no party, just three girls standing around talking about a boy.

Surfers and local beach-goers in Southern California wouldn’t be caught dead in Speedos. That’s for the Midwest and, as stated, for competitive swimmers, or Europeans.

Poor stupid Tiffany. She has a real problem with feeling safe. They have made her so delusional she believes everyone is after her, the burglars, now Kip. Can her ego get any bigger? Someone please give her a dose of reality.
