Awwww! There’s Tabitha! And she’s been guarding the whole house all this time, along with Tillie (unbeknownst to her until now)! This means we’ll get to see ALL the rest of the house!! Squeeee!

NOT happy! Tried every 2 minutes for the last half hour to get on & when I do, all you folks are ahead! I must be missing a key move. :-(

Okay, I think that Elvis’s raised paw or paws are him hanging on to the wall, but why is he facing out into the shaft?

Elvis just has to envision this as a bout for the WWC (did I get that right?) championship belt. You can do it, Elvis!

Just one. Just one? Well, there’s creme tangerine, Montélimar, ginger sling with a pineapple heart, coffee dessert, cool cherry cream, a nice apple tart,coconut fudge (which really blows down those blues), but… what I really like is a Savoy truffle.

Kidding aside… I love, but one at a time with a recovery period before another, Ferrero Rocher Italian Hazelnut Chocolates. A roasted hazelnut center enveloped in a creamy chocolate ganache, englobed in a crispy wafer sphere, covered with milk chocolate, studded with more roasted hazelnut chopped bits. A riot of tastes and textures. Chew? Crunch? Allow to melt? Decisions!

For cats, country and courage!!! Go Elvis and Tabitha!!!

To my deep and lasting chagrin I realized while looking down the dumbwaiter shaft in panel 4 the answer to my question a couple of days ago about why the pulley seemed to be on the other side in the basement. The pulley can’t change sides, of course, but the various doors can open on different sides of the shaft. Duh.

Off Topic: Georgia on the website announced paintings! "Georgia Dunn – Breaking Cat News19 hrs · I’m going to try to finish this painting up today so I can finally put together that EBay auction I’d had planned this summer! This week I’ll put two original paintings up for sale on EBay, and the proceeds will go to our friend Michael Davis who survived his double lung transplant this past summer!

Folks who collect my paintings have requested EBay auctions for some time, rather than the “first come, first serve” style of Etsy. BCN paintings in the Etsy shop have set prices, but tend to sell out quickly (less than an hour last time!) I’ve done one other EBay auction in 2015, I believe, and have meant to do more, writing the comic and life just have me strapped for time most weeks!

I plan to have another sale of originals sometime in November, with those proceeds being the typical “pay off some debts, get ready for tax season, hopefully savings account??” variety. The sale this week will be something more special; a chance to own a BCN original AND a chance to make it a little easier for a terrific guy with a second chance to just take some well deserved deep breaths and live his life!

Lupin was right, you know—he should have gone instead of Elvis. Now we might need to rescue Elvis, too. And in other news, will Agatha and Tillie pop up to the attic and give Pucky a status report? If they do, he’ll worry about Elvis.

Even though Lupin was told Elvis had to do the climbing I am kind of surprised he isn’t there anyway. He is the cat of adventure after all. Though like I think someone said yesterday, I can just see Lupin and Figaro already up there when Elvis and Tabitha get to the attic. Both of them are good at getting around, Figaro’s woman said in the first Halloween special that he is always showing up in unexpected places. There is obviously another way to the attic besides the dumbwaiter and if anyone knows that way I am guessing that Figaro would.

I was wondering why the rescue party didn’t go to the upstairs apartment from the basement and then only have to climb the dumbwaiter shaft one floor. (I know, less adventure and dramatic tension) But now we know that Tabitha’s People make that impossible by keeping the door shut!

I don’t get to look at these until mid-day, but wanted you all to know about my adventure. This morning, as I drove west toward work under clear skies, I saw the big, beautiful Hunter’s Moon. (ed. note: full today!) Trepidation stirred my heart, as somewhere I’d heard the legend of the werefloof.

Standing on the train platform in the still fall air I again saw the full moon, and I heard the distant plaintive cry, “Hellooooooooooooo”. Unfortunately, I did not get floofed. (ed. note: Fortunately. Tommy, remember, third rail live!)

As I arrived at work the moon was down, so all I got was some lousy hat-hair.

Tabitha seems to be warming up to Tillie.

I’m not sure if it was Sooti’s almost twin, but something ate the food I put out on my porch the other evening. I refilled the food dish and about half of it has already been eaten.
