It looks like another growth spurt for Tiffany. Hard-earned gains indeed, this time. I wonder if Greg will let her keep them, or will we see Tiffany reverting to form – again – in the next story arc?

Say! I believe someone (here?) called this very thing yesterday. Tiff’s Selling/pawning off her old, no longer quite fitting designer clothes. Hopefully Tiffany will do one H3LL of a lot BETTER selling HER stuff, than Gunther did last year selling Irma’s furniture!

    Poor Tiffany! “One Broke Girl!”

    But two questions remain:

    1) Well Tiff make enough money selling her stuff to pay for her Summer lodging AND next Fall’s?

    2) Will Ann Eiffel Angrily text Tom and complain that he’s spending too much money on turkey and rye? ;)

Like I said hardly anyone at the FUSE has not had a run-in with Ann, her reputation is pretty well established. But this is perfectly set-up for Luannverse to come after her maybe. TJ is going to find out why Tiffany is working overtime (the fact she did not get permission is Tiffany is true but not the point) and probably Les who hates his mom, and has basically disentangled himself from her, to say they are estranged is putting too nice of a term on it; is it not too much to predict (as much as we can with this wacky story strip) that Ann is about to get her comeuppance? If that does happen though, and how long and convoluted it happens to be, lets hope the growth that Tiffany is being forced to go through is for real and long-lasting. Don’t get me wrong, I still want my brat Tiffany, just a better, wiser, more emphatically aware brat Tiff.

To be honest, once Tiffany scales back her wardrobe, she might find that she does not need a dorm that size any more. Maybe just 10 closets is enough.

Aha, but where are those clothes. Most likely not at the dorm since she had to get out and probably wasn’t sufficient room for all of them. So what happens when she goes home to get them and will Ann “Evil” stops her because “her father paid for those clothes” (and, now, Ann will sell them and pocket the money?). Don’t know if the Evans have this in mind, but it wouldn’t surprise me.

Now that Tiffany is selling her old designer duds, I wonder “Who” in the Strip would buy them?

    1) Luann? Hmm. Not her style. But Wow, could you image Lu in those sexy outfits Tiff used to wear?

    2) Bernice? Bernie’s a bit on the thin side, and those clothes would have to be taken in quite a bit. But that would be a perfect “breakout” for her!

    3) Tara? Definitely!!

    4) Bets? Bets, I think, is a tad MORE Curvaceous than the old Tiffany was. But BOY HOWDY!!! Just the Thought Of Bets “Pouring” out of those old tight, sexy designer outfits of Tiffanys, is “cold shower inducing.” Gunther will have thought he’d gone to Heaven, twice! Nah, I don’t think Bets would be a buyer. I DO think she’ll have Gunther sew her something one day. After shes make him “measure her.” REPEATEDLY……, ;)

My daughter constantly finds/buys desiger clothes, barely used, some brand new with tags still on, at thrift stores for next to nothing. $100 “something” for $1. And she always puts on the dog. I hope she retains this interest as she gets older.

Tiffany doesn’t need all those clothes that no longer fit her. Sell them to a consignment shop and while she’s at it she needs to pare down her shoes and purses as well. That may net her enough to live in the dorm again.

We’re all talking here about how Tiff has changed but we’ve missed the most significant fact. If daddy isn’t providing money, then his hold on tiff slips and she can really let fly at Annie. “Or what dad? you’ll cut me off? already did that.”

So much is happening to Tiffany right now. I hope her friends will stand beside her through it. The extreme amount of change that people go through at that age can throw them over the edge, and added problems make it worse. That is why depression is so common in that age group.

I knew a girl who was estranged from her widowed father for similar reasons, who left everything behind and went to stay with friends. She waited until her Dad was out of town and went home, got a few personal things, and cash she already had, her bank book and some clothes and was gone for almost a year. He had the police looking for her but she was 18. She was not HIDING, the cops found her walking down the main street and out mutual friend’s father, where she had been staying called the police himself to tell them that she was a GUEST in his home, using what HAD been his daughter’s room for as long as she needed it. Her Dad tried to bully him into ‘letting’ her leave, saying he would press charges, which is why he had called the cops in the first place, which prompted the call from her host’s house. The cops came, were invited inside, saw her living arrangement and left. Once her Dad saw he had no control, he tried to threaten her with cutting her off. She told him the only money she had taken was money she had earned herself. Her car was registered in her name, she had title, she had to transfer her insurance, though. It took 3 years before her father finally realized the woman HE was seeing was the shrew his daughter had tried to make him see. Yes there was a woman…and she had some skeletons. He overheard HERE on the phone one day talking , followed her and realized she was sneaking around with another guy…no hilarity ensued. He and his daughter eventually made up.

I’m hoping that Tiff can become self-supporting and that as a result ol’ Tommy Boy will finally start using the head between his shoulders to do his thinking instead of the one between his legs that he’s been using thus far in his life with Ann Awful and perhaps will finally realize what an awful person she really is.

Let’s see… Ox helped her find her talent for cosmetology. Dez helped her get interested in a business degree and freed her from Anne’s monitored credit card (although Bernice had to show her how it actually works). Even Les helped her get a better job. Now it’s TJ’s turn to help her out. While a rummage sale is indeed a great idea, she may not be allowed to have it on the campus.

I would hate to see Bernice have to shut that down, too…

“I need(ed) the money” … isn’t that what people who commit robberies usually say? Let’s see, first, Tiffany hires herself to work at the local bistro because she “needs money”. Now she is scheduling her own overtime because she “needs money”. I guess her fellow workers are ok with her trying to bogart all the overtime. Nice. How is she getting away with all this stuff?
