But wait . . . Acting is . . . ART! Sophie is an artist!

And the door creaks slowly open!

Ooh! Methinks she’s going to think of it as something like improv theatre. =3 Or… just about anything else that fits into acting dramatically. XD;

The only problem I can see with this is that I have to wait all the way until the next day to find out what is going to happen.

A breakthrough! A bit of understanding, once you lot stop speaking your language very loudly and start speaking Sophie’s! There we go…

Also, nice little detail about how Sophie’s partial blindness affects her. I like that it’s not a complaint; it’s just a fact about her.

Cats are ALWAYS acting, we just haven’t seen their script.

In case anyone here missed it today Georgia’s Facebook session filmed on her phone from her sequestered family at home is available for playback. It was so lovely and fun with visits from the girl and boy (the latter mugging for the camera) and seeing the cats live in purrson. Lots of fun inside info about all things BCN! And news of the next book!

Duke “the Dumpster” Droese was a wrestling garbageman.

Abe “Knuckleball” Schultz was a wrestling baseball player.

“Doink the Clown” was… a wrestling clown.

A snake who’s a cat must be extremely conflicted on St. Patty’s/Catty’s Day.

That’s right, Sophie! Everycat has a wrestling purr-sona, it’s all pretend and make-believe, and nobody fights for real! At least until La Dama Dragon shows up?

With those delicate paws, maybe Sophie can be a bunny wrestler, working exclusively with her hind legs for bunny kicks and leg-locks!♥

Sophie’s delicate paws remind me of my late ginger boy whose most favourite toy was the Cat Dancer. We always had wood floors, and his bushy toe floof covered his beans so that he often slid on the floor if he took a corner too fast. He would leap and jump and land hard when ‘dancing’, and he must have had delicate paws (along with being a giant 18-pound fellow), so he always danced on the bed. I would hear him dragging the Cat Dancer from the bedroom into the living room, where he would drop in near me, then pat me gently with a paw, and when I picked up the toy he ran back into the bedroom and hopped up on the bed, ready to do his cardio workout.♥

Play requires practice. So does socialising. By trying one, she might do the other?

Finally! They’re reaching out to her on common ground – I’ve been waiting/hoping for that to happen. Sophie is a sweet cat, but it helps to put things in a way she finds approachable.

Our furry little artist is going to investigate a new medium…Cosplay!

COSPLAY: A portmanteau of the words costume & play. It is a performance art in which participants called cosplayers wear costumes and fashion accessories to represent a specific character. The only limit to the characters is the imagination of the cosplayer.

I think we found Sophie’s zing!

Not only is Sophie an artist, she’s an avid reader. She may have a favorite character in mind! She is seeing a chance to use her imagination.

I can’t tell you how happy I am for Sophie. She overcame her shyness and insecurity to venture forth. YIPPEE for SOPHIE! AND the artwork is so full of fun in the panels, they almost vibrate! THANK YOU. Just what we needed.

OT dear Orb… Oh My Cat! Did anyone else feel the earthquake that hit Idaho last night? I’m curious if Georgia and family felt it, as we have heard reports that people in Seattle were able to feel it. I live just under 100 miles from the epicenter, and I definitely felt it! My first earthquake, and it was an extremely odd and unsettling feeling!

“Wait, does this mean wrestling is (gasp) fake?”

Come on Sophie. All the cool kids are doing it!

I’m no wrestling fan so this might be obvious, but does Elvis’s comment mean that his character is based on Jake The Snake?

Today is only April Fool’s Day. I still think it should be election day. I recall once living somewhere that it was. And considering the amount of folly, fools, and foolishness in the world, one day seems hardly adequate.

Wrestlers invented cosplay, rough cosplay. My father used to watch wrestling a lot on TV. I think I was named after a wrestler, … or maybe a cowboy.

Of course their only playing characters. This isn’t Aegean-Persian Tussleing, it’s Tusslemania. Everyone knows it’s fake.

FYI, Xfinity/Comcast is showing “They Live,” the Roddy Piper movie previously discussed. It was on a few days ago, and it airs a couple more times, once at 0430 CST tomorrow morning. Since I haven’t watched wrestling since black and white TV (Gorgeous George era), I didn’t know anything about Roddy Piper until Rowdy Goldie Pepper showed up, so I did all the research. Now the movie is on TV? Coincidence?

Anxiously awaiting my copies if TIAT. and this time i’m going to find out how my packages arrive. I know some of you believe in that mythical creature “Mailman”, so I’m ready with my digital camera (sorry Polaroid), and I’m sitting on the porch so I can’t miss the opportunity to find out for sure. stay tooned for updates, hopefully, film at 11!

some sad and happy news. Midnight had her kittens, unfortunately, all premies she had 5 but only one survived. I helped bottle feed them and helped but they sadly did not make it . The surviving kitten is all black and has a slight deformed rear paw so I named him Puck :)
