Coming Soon š At the beginning of April, youāll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
Donāt forget the pasta, Pucky. Pasta is an essential.
(I plead guilty to the discount Easter candy, though! There was so much of it! Even Cadbury eggs ā my mom loves Cadbury eggs, and she couldnāt find any at her grocery store. I saved her a couple of boxes for Motherās Day a couple weeks later.)
And I am up early today, so I can get to the store first thing this morning. I havenāt gone in a month, and have a staggeringly long list. Wish me luck!
Pucky ā People donāt clean themselves with their tongues and donāt use litter boxes. Weird, I know. Maybe Beatrix can research this and there will be Puck charts about it in our reading future.
Right now frozen vegetables are starting to get hard to find. Yet toilet paper, paper towels, and even Clorox Wipes are starting to be available again.
Getting a hair cut today, first one since January. I look like a hippie (which is not necessarily bad). My hair has not been this long since the 70ās.
You know, right now in many communities, Marijuana is legal and hair cuts are not? It took 50 years, but the Hippies have WON!
The other week when I went to buy a motherās day card the motherās day card section looked a lot like the TP aisle. I wasnāt sure why at first, but then I realized that people were more limited on where they could by cards this year. The strange thing was there was one small section in the middle with quite a few cards while most of the rest of the section was completely empty. I am not sure if they put those in later or if people didnāt like them as much. They had pictures of animals on the front and I found a cute one with cats on it so I thought they were perfect.
Itās a honey of a day: Today is World Bee Day! I must confess, for much of my life Iāve been afraid of stinging insects, due to a traumatic experience when I was somewhere between two and three years old involving a paper wasp nest and picking raspberries. It took about twenty years for me to get over that fear. At about that time, I learned the hard way that I was pretty much immune to wasp and hornet stings when I walked into a swarm of ground hornets that had been stirred up by the guy in front of me (who didnāt get stung.) The stings hurt no more than pin pricks, and my body had absolutely no other reaction. Since then Iāve been able to be very calm in the presence of wasps and bees: āGo away, sister, I am not a giant caterpillar, nor do I secrete nectar or pollen.ā Every time a bee lands on me, I have to resist the urge to pet it, and they are the only insect I consider cute.
So the buzz for today is think kindly thoughts about beesāthey need all the help they can get. And give a nod to any apiarists you may know. Buzzing off, now.
Elvis-Anum: Your Majesty, I am happy to announce that soft papyrus scrolls are available once again.
Queen Catshepsut the Golden: That is excellent news, Royal Scribe. Please assign duties to the staff.
Elvis-Anum: Gladly, Your Majesty. Puckmosis, you are to unroll all the scrolls and see they are laid out neatly. Lupinium, you will pounce on the unrolled scrolls and see they are in piles. Then Beatrixia, you will shred the piles of papyrus. Now, where is the Royal Chef.
Thomoisis: I have prepared cans of tuna for the after-shredding feast. There are enough cans to make noise and pandemonium.
Puckmosis: I love it when pandas are invited to join us in the feast.
I just placed my Zazzle order, now I just have to patiently wait for it to arrive. I picked standard shipping so it might be a few weeks. You can buy THE Yellow Fuzzy Blanket, though I didnāt purchase that. I am getting the puzzle with the boys reading around the lamp, a notebook with climbing Puck, an I believe in Mailmen magnet and a shirt with Burt on it.
Our two cats are frequently horrified by what we humans do to that perfectly lovely water fountain in the bathroom. Especially since thereās a litter box right next to it!
About the new Zazzle items ā all the 16 Ć 20 puzzles are sold out (wonder why that size?) and enamel cups? Just curious why. Any suggestions which puzzle size besides the 16 Ć 20?
One of the new troubles is that Coke and Pepsi are āconcentrating on their core productsā according to signs in the store. So some of the flavors I like have been unavailable.

What do you get when you shop for food?
Lots of empty shelves to burst your bubble
For what you do get, you have to pay double
Iāll never shop for food again
Iāll never make a list again
Dontcha know that Iāll never shop for food again
Donāt tell me what itās all about
āCause Iāve pushed that cart with a big olā pout
Want some junk food, but I canāt find squat
That is why Iām here with nothinā bought
What do you get when you shop for food?
You only get celery and bananas
So far at least until maƱana
Iāll never shop for food again
No, no, Iāll never push that cart again
