Coming Soon đ At the beginning of April, youâll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
(btw so many people replied to my comment yesterday, extolling the virtues of the Roomba, with stories of how your own robovacs had let you down. Iâm sorry the Robot Overlords do not favor you as they do me ;)
The Annual Spring Shed Hair Daily Festival has begun. You would think they would be bald by now. Daily vacuuming is not enough to rid the ever shedding hair. After combing, brushing and even using a lint removel to get the last hairs, there still is more to comb, brush and lint remove.
She-Who-Is-Sitting-By-The-Window,-Warming-Her-Paws-In-The-Sun-And-Keeping-Careful-Watch-On-The-World-In-Case-It-Does-Something-She-Disapproves-Of,-Which-It-Probably-Will does not like either the Dyson vacuum cleaner or the Roomba, but She isnât afraid of them. She just thinks they are too noisy.
Queen Mags of Afar: Welcome to Afar, my friends. What is it you wish to ask of me?
Puckmosis: Your Majesty, recently we found a new room in the Great Pyramid. It has led us to believe there is truth to the legends of the pyramids of Egypt and Afar.
Violet-Ifa: Adobe Style and I would like to search the archives at the Afar Public Library and Koffee Shop.
Queen Mags: Of course. We donât call it the public library for nothing. And everyone, please accept this gift scroll for a free kat latte and scone.
Adobe Style: You are too kind, Your Majesty.
Beatrixia: Her Majesty, Queen Catshepsut the Golden also sends you a gift of gold and gems from the newly-discovered Great Pyramid treasure room.
My vacuum and I are thrilled to be down one extra-large furry dog (moved out with my son). Now itâs just five cats and one dog, the fur seems much more manageable.
Well my cat doesnât really lose hair that much but I been to my friends house and yep she was covered in cat hair Iâm glad my cat doesnât lose to much hair! I would be tried if I had to vacuum everyday! :)
Just how big IS that apartment? Take out all of the carpeting and put in hard flooring. Then you can dustmop it quickly because you can see where the dust/hair is.
Given the interesting vibes itâll make (even if not particularly loud), my guess is Lupin will be the first RoombaRiderâŠwith Puck reporting the milestone, and Elvis all a-hiss.
Are there any comments about todays strip? Iâm afraid to read the OT and donât want to. people should comment about the strip outside of the OT, I thought thatâs how it supposed to work.
I donât understand. Iâve been vacuuming for over 60 years and have never thought of it as heavy labor. The hardest was vacuuming stairs when we had multiple floors.
When our daughter was in middle school she saved the yield from brushing the cat, who liked being brushed for some reason, and made me a toupee. She really enjoyed giving it to me.
U Express, the parent company for GoComics made some drastic changes to their advice columns page âwithout any warningâwhich has made it impossible for me to navigate them. None of the links there work now. I hope they donât make similar changes here. If they do, Iâll try to get here via my Fire Tablet, though itâs really hard for my shaky fingers to type on a touch screen keyboard!
I now have only the 3 cats and 1 giant Great Dane. No one thought to tell me that Great Danes shed their entire bodies at least once a month and you end up with half of those hairs stuck in the bottom of your feet. If he wasnât so lovable the shedding and hair splinters might be a problem but how can a 200lb lap dog that is like a shadow 24/7 be any kind of problem?
Try having 6 house cats. The hair is impossible to keep up with. Living with a people who is a hoarder doesnât help either. No wonder Iâm on three different allergy meds just to live in my own house! (not allergic to cats, just dirt and mold and my spouse)
Science Fiction: in 2021 we will have human androids so life-like they will need Harrison Ford to identify them Reality: In 2021 we have robots that can vacuum the floor.

Are they quiet enough to not scare the bejeesus out of pussycats? I think the movement alone would cause my Sophie to hide out in her closet.

Roombas are the spies of Skynet; carefully mapping your house over and over to ensure they have it perfectly laid out.
