There isn’t a lot to lasso on a roomba, you have to go for the whole body, unless you get your lasso under the bristles, and it tangles up in Tortimer’s moustache.

That would break poor Goldie’s heart.

OT: morning all! In surprisingly little pain as I type but I haven’t been out of bed yet. Not sure if I go home today, I expect PT will have some say in that. Will keep you all posted.

Lupin, sweetie, there are some things you simply don’t want on the other end of your rope, and I’m afraid Tortimer is one of them.

Someones going to get hurt and I don’t think it will be Tortimer.

Elvis, if you’re gonna claim you can vacuum better, you need to prove it. Get vacuuming or shut up about it.

A cat with any type of stringy thing is bound to attract other cats. This is not going to end well for anybody. Especially Tortimer since he will probably get indigestion sucking up that entire length once he gets his teeth into it.

O.T. Sitting on the deck drying my hair in the sun, and a couple of Air Force planes just flew over doing refueling practice on their way to the Air National Guard base at McGee-Tyson airport in Knoxville. They fly slow and relatively low while doing this. I’m under a major flight path so this happens fairly often, but I always find it fascinating. When they do it at night, it looks very much like some kind of UFO if you’re not familiar with the procedure. Especially if there are multiple planes surrounding the tanker.

Um, Elvis. Pretty sure to vacuum better than Tortimer, you would have to touch a running vacuum. Never going to happen!

Random walk is the least efficient way to vacuum a room. However, it is the cheapest to implement. Imagine how expensive lasso-avoidance would be?

Lupin’s gonna try to wrangle that pesky wrobot “WRO-VOOM”!

When I was about 3 I got a story record called “Roy Rogers’ Rodeo.” It had a bunch of exposition about the various events. It was there I learned the meaning of “pigging string.” Gabby Hayes was my favorite character.

I’m thinking Hopalong Lupin may lasso more than he expects. . .

I have some ribbon from a present that I’d hung on the wall as decoration beside my coat hooks. Yesterday I found it on the floor and hung it back up. This morning, as I was fixing breakfast, I spotted Sooti jumping up and climbing the various items I have hanging from the coat hooks and going after that ribbon. I gave up on using it as a decoration and just took it down and stored it in a drawer.

Nice job Elvis! You hurt the poor thing’s feelings.
