Question: should people who deny science, who are anti-vax, anti-mask; people who are offered free access to vaccinations yet turn them down; should these people then be given medical care when they do get ill from covid and suddenly do want help? Although this question should not be answered, the question should be posed to such people.

So called “social media” is a social disease. And as Margaret Atwood pointed out decades ago, “Stupidity is the same as evil if you judge by the results.” Stupidity seems to be highly communicable; try not to spread it.

Anti-vax are of strange headspace, and with many varieties of immature, toddler-like logic. I listened to one talking about how the virus was spread intentionally. Okay.. perhaps it was, although I do doubt that. But how are you helping by not vaccinating against it? Your logic says don’t put out fires that are set by arson, only the ones caused by nature. Please, go away, all of you. We’ve got work to do.

AMEN! But the mask is for your nose and mouth…the pandemic will NEVER end if we all don’t do the right thing! A pandemic is a health crisis, not a political stance, not violating your rights…it’s a choice of live or die situations! In history, a pandemic lasted for 4 years…were in the second year now….=~[

Hospitals in the south are “failing.” No beds available for people who have had strokes, heart attacks, or other medical needs.“Kitty…” I agree with MitmanArt. Anti-vaxxers are overwhelming the hospitals. More now are children who cannot be vaccinated yet. Hospital personnel are suffering from dealing daily with all the pain, the deaths. Federal help is necessary. One (or two) shots and not only would they be alive and well (hopefully), Covid would stop mutating so quickly.

There is NO evidence that masks have stopped any spread. In fact available evidence indicates that it does nothing. Note the continued spikes despite a heavily complaint and masked population in places like London, San Francisco, New York and elsewhere. This has been analyzed. Masks are virtue signals and as the New England Journal of Medicine has put it, Masks are a “talisman” designed to ease anxiety. A better way to ease anxiety – end the fear mongering by the propaganda machine seeking to empower government and corporatists.

The better question should be, “Should people who take the experimental DNA-altering kill shot that has killed and maimed 100s of thousands people, after having been warned by hundreds of doctors and scientists how deadly the shot is, be given expensive treatment, even though the ‘virus’ has a 99.97% survival rate?”

By now we’re all aware of what we need to do to keep ourselves and others safe. If someone elects to not take actions for self-preservation, they’ve ignored advice and warnings. If they become ill as a result, health care will try to treat and save them, but health care systems around the world have convincingly demonstrated that they are inadequate for pandemic level surges in demand.

If you want to blame someone why not blame the person who caused this not people who are scared of the vaccine because of all the misinformation. Fauci testified that he funded gain of function test on Covid at several labs in the US. This information was then shared with the director of the lab in Wuhan where this was released/escaped from. Fauci now ranks as one of the greatest mass murders of all time right there with Pol Pot, Stalin, hitler and Mao. But yet you still go to him for guidance.

Get the vaccine people! Get BOTH doses. Then continue to wear your mask and social distance etc for the two weeks needed to acquire immunity. After that, take Off your mask (unless you simply feel more comfortable continuing to wear it) and live your life within reason. We have to use common sense and not let fear rule us. I am fully vaccinated and I practice social distance and wash my hands but I refuse to wear a mask because someone else refuses to be vaccinated! We all must make our choices. It’s foolish to cast stones and make blanket judgements regarding entire groups of people. Just because someone isn’t wearing a mask don’t assume they are also anti vaccine. As for whether or not they should be treated that my friends is a slippery and dangerous slope. Should be ban overweight people or smokers from getting necessary treatment because they made stupid choices? Who made YOU God and Judge in these matters? If people get sick they should get treatment! But we should also be strongly encouraging everyone to get vaccinated instead of hyping conspiracy theories. Amen Pig and Rat. Love the new use for masks. ; )

My state over the summer allowed vaccinated people to go out in public without a mask. Unvaccinated people were to still wear them, as is reasonable. I went to a mall finally, after a year, and realized only one person besides me – and I am vaccinated – was wearing a mask. My state has about 50% vaccinated. So 50% or more of the people in the mall were not vaccinated. This is one of the problems we have, and a definite reason masks should never have been considered unnecessary because people will take advantage and put others at extra risk.

Not sure but I tend to believe that illness does not follow a simple signed paper, and not because somebody says so the sickness goes away magically, and simply because somebody said so it does not mean I can go out and nothing will happen. And I am sure that if something happens the person who said it was ok to go out without mask will not bring me back my health. Also, there are quite some hypocrites out there blaming Biden because he is slowing the vaccination, yet they are in the same party as those governors that not only are they criticizing vaccination, but who are forbidding the mandate of requiring masks. Luckily that’s were most deaths are happening, so we get to see Darwinism in action
