Why would Dez even know a cheerleader like Stefani or would want to share a quad with her. This is as contrived as Bernice living with Luann. Greg needs to burn it all down and start over again.

Okay first things first.

1) If Tiffany plans to go after Kip, rooming with his clingy girlfriend Stef is a BAD idea.

2) Sharing a room with Dez is fine. Sharing a room with Dez, that ditzy Stef and Lord knows who else, is not so fine.

But the burning question, (At least for Me) is just Who will that fourth person be?

Bets?

Crystal?

Viper?

A retconned Sun?

A forgiven Tara?

(God Help Us) Bernice?

Luann, who finally decides to move to Mooney U?

Or someone brand spanking new, interesting, and majoring in engineering?

I’m hoping for someone new. ;)

Tiff, you complained about the lack of privacy before when you lived in the dorm and you want to trade your luxurious bedroom in a mansion to go back? Why did you work so hard to get rid of Ann Eiffel?

I’d like to say it’s because B’s increasingly mean attitude toward those who she sees as less ‘perfect’ makes Dez uncomfortable. But it’s probably because the only reason B could afford to live in the dorm before was that the room cost was included in whatever she received as an RA. Now that the RA position has been eliminated, B can’t afford the dorm. Unless her good friend Tiffany paid for it?

Tiff needs to get back on a social circuit, but she should aim higher than the Kip crowd who considers a new jock strap as a worthy gift item.

Stefani was always at Kip’s dorm, so it will be Dez, Tiffany, and ??? I wonder who the other one will be. Maybe Bets will move in, or will it be Sun or Viper?

Well who’d a thought. The resurrection of Kip. Does anyone think Tiff will “Win One For The Kipper!” anytime soon!?!?

Ugh. They’ve gone from “Tiffany is lonely” to “Tiffany wants someone else’s boyfriend—again.” As if it was so much fun when she was interested in Luann’s boys. Hey, when’s the resident earth mother going to make with her sage advice?

Dez and Stef seem like an odd couple to be looking for room mates together. I thought Stef would be rooming with other cheerleaders. Heck I am surprised she is not living in a sorority house (Tiff for that matter too) though Mooney may have abolished the Greek system as in the past couple of decades many chapters of fraternities and sororities have been put on probation or had their charters suspended for various violations concerning hazing, underage drinking and more recently breaking a lot of the social distancing codes with wide open parties when the university, local and state officials had initiated stringent social distancing protocol.

So with Tiffany trimmed down, regaining her ‘allowance’, and losing Ann, ( and in a sense, her father), it seems things are back to ‘normal’.

Here’s a karmic thought. Tiffany joins the quad room, with intentions to snatch Kip. I wonder what ‘condition’ he will be in after a long, inactive year?

How in the world does a twit like Stef connect with Transcendental Dez? This just doesn’t make sense to me.

Some rooms in college dorms are four separate bedrooms with a common room in the center that all share.

I think Dez would be a great influence on Tiffany. I’m looking forward to see what’s next. :)

In two seconds, Tiff’s mind went from room to groom. She definitely has a thing for Kippy.

Don’t do it Tif. Once again, Dez is a loon! She’ll drive you crazy with all her talk of “crystals” and “auras”.

Ah, yes…. Just when we’re supposed to feel some sympathy for Tiffany, G&K throw us for a loop this way, which completely tosses that out the window..

I would be really happy if Tiffany and Dez became roommates. Even if Tiffany is driven by a very wrong motivation. For a shallow guy who already has a girlfriend and had already tell her that he think losing the cheerleader status is one of the worst dishonors ever. This can become a drama that will permanently destroy all the evil remnants of the old Tiffany. Or make her reborn in all her hideous and evil shallowness. Dez can help Tiffany avoid it! Maybe the fourth roommate will be Bets?

The problem I have is they’ve shown growth in Tiffany’s character, but now she’s back to being a self-centered vamp, who want’s to steal another’s boyfriend?

Socialization aside, what a waste of money to pay for a dorm when you live in the same town. Regardless of how much money her dad has!

Look, don’t touch.

I love this twist to get Tiffany back into the dorm and dorm life!!! She’s languishing rattling around in that big ole lonely mansion by herself. And now that she’s back in the bucks and on Daddy’s good side things should get interesting. Unlike some others I think the Steffi-Tiffi-Kippi love triangle has the possibility for long term humor. Greg is a genius! First he throws Berniece and Luann into the same house and now THIS! And best of all we continue to see Dez.

So Tiff is planning to poach her possible roommate’s boyfriend? That’s a d!ck move.

Oh no. It’s the old Tiffany coming back. And I was just getting to like her again. Hey tiff. If you want to steal someone’s boyfriend, you will have to start working out and get your old bad back.

Can’t wait for the pillow fights

Tiffany and Kip would be a cute couple. Now Greg just has to figure out what contrived circumstances will bring them together. Maybe they will forego the pagoda of peace, or one of them will become allergic to lavender (making any future relationship impossible), or break up in the dog park after a bitter argument about not having a dog, or fail to fuse at the Fuse, or argue over fries at Weenie World or have a big fight and attack each other with their cars in a parking lot. The possibilities are endless, but maybe, just maybe, Kip has a cute friend that is going to be better for her? It worked for Bernice (with the exception of the cute part). I am expecting this to wind up in December.

Dez was Bernice’s roommate and seemed to have a following, knew everyone. I don’t remember Stefani being a “friend” and Kip didn’t seem trustworthy. While her moving back into that scene would provide many interesting stories, and maybe Dez would provide balance, Tiffany might be better off in the mansion, attending classes. I’m sure GnK will go for the laughs and conflicts. ;-)

What I like is the way Karen and Greg depict the workings of the teenage mind. While everyone on this forum is going ballistic over Tiff’s thinking and poor choices, nothing here should be surprising for anyone going back to remember their teenage years and the choices they made (or didn’t), or who has dealt with teenagers recently. Maturity and logic aren’t typically their strong suits. More likely, hormones and impulses. My two bits! :D

Kip is the type of man Tiffany thinks about. Not the nerdy, geeky Gunther type. Tiffany thinks of Gunther as only a friend, if she ever thinks about him at all. Kip is her type.

Meh. Tiffany is better off flying to Paris and helping her dad with his business. The Hall A Gang is just going to drag her down.

Tiffany does not seem eager to move into the dorm with Dez and Stefani. She is only thinking about Kip right now.

Hmm Stef and Dez rooming together, ought to be interesting. How does domineering Magnolia girl relate to earth mother? I will take the chance and say Tiff will decide to be one of the residents in the quad, but that leaves the fourth resident. To bad it could not have been Tara. Kip might be in play as well. Two of a kind competing over the hunky QB.

So I think this is an interesting study in art. What is it about the drawing of Kip that makes him so good looking?

Has Tiffany ever actually had a love interest of her own? I feel that she’s always been the Veronica to someone else’s Betty: a vampy temptress used to make another female character look better by comparison. And now she’s used in that same function for Stefani, a character we’ve barely even seen. I for one hope she manages to snag that Kip guy, as it’s way past time for her to cross first base.

I’d pick a guy from the chess club over a self-absorbed football player.
