The result is that more and more the stupid and evil are left to hook-up and play amongst themselves unsupervised, unmolested, and unchallenged by doubters. I may not have to look at it myself, but I’m not at all certain that leaving it to the Deplorables is a good thing…

    Curiously, you can find similar comics in the early/mid 20th century regarding the rise of television. I believe there were other similar complaints with cars (which makes sense to me), and even the printing press.

    while meant to be funny there is some accuracy in that we’ve reached a level of technology that’s allowed for stagnation and more corruption than ever before. For instance, before photocopiers and electronic records it was much harder to come up with enough fake ballots to swing an election.
