On the positive side, while it is not over, the fact that cases, hospitalizations, and deaths are going down during the winter (when everyone is stuck inside together) is a good sign. I actually do have some hope for the warmer weather when we can dine outside.
Almost all my friends have kids and grandkids. Every single one of the families found ways to juggle all the changes in positive ways. They learned to juggle, to work from home, to handle the at-home Zoom lessons. They got themselves and their kids vaccinated; they wore masks; they social distanced. They got frustrated, certainly, but they also found new and better ways to interact with their families and their co-workers.
My single friends and I also found constructive ways to cope. You’d think from this strip that every American citizen was spoiled, self-centered and unable to handle this recurring phenomenon. I wish more stories were printed about those who grappled successfully with this challenge.

Idiot moron Reich wing sheep still believe that podcast, Faux Noose BS and try to push their crap onto the rest of the world. Hey Bozos, guess what – the earth still ain’t flat either.
Think about how much money would have been saved (and LIVES saved) if Ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine (and Zinc and D3 and C) had been issued to all Americans on Day 1 of this madness.
Call of Duty is a history class, put on a dunce cap and sit in a corner. Had nuns teaching you, stick out you knuckles for the ruler. Then go to the corner to knee durning the whole recess.
Call of Duty is educational, sort of. I wonder if I can get my old game of Postal to run in a Virtual machine window. I had unlocked the cheat where you get to piss napalm on the baddies. Good clean educational fun.
they are easing the mask requirements here. I am still going to wear mine in the stores for awhile. I just keep thinking we will drop out guard too quickly and another variant will catch us off guard. I’d rather be safe than sorry.1

Step 1: Cases quickly rise
Step 2: Safety measures are taken
Step 3: Measures taken reduce cases.
Step 4: Measures are removed because cases began falling.
Step 5: People complain the measures were tyranny and unnecessary.
Step 6: Cases spike again.
Step 7: Return to Step 1.
