Vlad’s been living in a house of cards. He’s trying to CPR the cold war so he has a big bad meanie to fight which will keep him going longer as he tries to bring back USSR. With the USA not jumping back into it, and instead having the whole world oppose him, his card house gets more and more unstable as his own people and formerly rich friends start blaming him for their woes. Russians need to protest him till his jails can’t hold them all and they finally get rid of him themselves. He’s a cancer they can’t afford anymore.

The idea of a Ukraine no-fly zone is pretty scary. The idea of a Rio Grande no-float zone has been rejected. Can we consider a no-mow zone?

Sometimes you are reminded that it’s only your property as long as you can defend it.

When I was teen, we had a neighbor who constantly turned his mower around in our yard. We asked him repeatedly not to do it due to him cutting his as low as it would go and we cut ours high so as to have a lusher lawn and everywhere he crossed it would kill our grass.One day when my father was out of town, said neighbor came to door to complain about our dog getting one of his kids shoes that was left in the yard. My mother reminded him again about not crossing the property line on his mower due to damage, He told Mother that he would be mowing again in a couple of days and that he would turn in our yard if he wanted. Mother simply stated that she owned a shotgun and that he may not make it back if he did so. Dumba$$ never crossed property line again.

A war is merely armed robbery writ large.

I’m just amazed that Wiley was able to rush this comic into print. The invasion was just ten days ago.

They are SURE that Garland won’t investigate illegals voting for Democrats [along with dead people.] Barr was supposed to be a Republican, but he DIDN’T investigate the ‘in your face’ 2020 Democrat cheater votes.He wanted Trump gone, so he just pronounced: “Widespread voter fraud is BS.”

Reminds me of my next-door neighbor, who put in an above-ground pool (with concrete base) three inches from the fence between our properties … to some people, there are no boundaries.

In our normal world, one would hope that one could call the police to charge him with the crime of trespass, and also bring civil suit for the cost of repairing damage to property. But that doesn’t work immediately, and it doesn’t undo any destruction or damage done immediately. At the level between countries, who is the “police”? Joint action by “society”? Imagine now that your neighbor starts building a swimming pool half in your yard and everyone stands around saying “Yeah, that’s OK, we’ll give him that land, but he better not step over into the Homeowner Association section . . . .”

Very clever synopsis of the current world crisis. If your lawn mower is big enough, you can do pretty well as you please which seems to be Putin’s mindset.

Reminds me of the first time I drove a motor scooter. I started off downhill and had go around a corner because it wasn’t a thru street then couldn’t keep it in the road and went at high speed into a growth of palmetto bushes or as they are properly known, saw palmettos.
