Oh NO! Another of Tiff’s questionable business schemes! As my friend 1212 says “Hilarity is certain to ensue!”

At least Tiffany is talking calmly to her father again. But where does he think that she stays when she’s not in school? And if she does stay in the Manse, why would he assume she wouldn’t be alone?

She could start a clinic and call it “DOC OX.”

Ox has a heart of gold, but, seemingly up to this point, Tiff only uses him when she needs him. Remember Ox, “no good deed goes unpunished”.

Talk about a liability issue! She’s going to drag Ox into a rent-a-cop business without any idea of what that entails?

One day Tiff will come to realize Ox’s feelings for her is not platonic. The question is what will she do about it? I am hoping she will realize she does care about him.

The second panel reminds me of the Get Back documentary, when Michael Lindsay-Hogg and Linda Eastman talk about Ringo Starr, and she comments that she feels relaxed around him.

I’ll go out on a limb and guess that “Cop Ox” is a throw-away one-time punch-line (hinting that Tiff has just thought of “Dumb Business Idea #16”) and that on Monday the action switches to a different story arc.

This feels like the end of the arc. Will we be back to Bernice on Monday? Lord knows we won’t see an arc centered around Luann or Brad.

Every failure you survive is a chance to try something new. They can’t all be dumb.

So, is dad still hanging on there in the etherworld while your brain jumped to another bad idea?

And thus, Tiff immediately forgets the hard lesson she just learned about business liabilities by brainstorming a business idea that carries even more liabilities.

Cop Ox. When you feel nervous and insecure, Cop Ox will come and calm you with his protective aura and talking to you. He will remind you that your life is important: he will listen to you, comfort you, advise you and compliment you without ever judging you. He will become your new best friend♡! Yep, I can definitely see Ox doing a job where he gives assistance to people in need, maybe this will be the extravagant start of his career.

As long as we don’t see Gunther again for a long time, I’m good. But Ox is too Oxy to be a cop.

And he gets one bullet for his gun and a poster of Barney Fife to hang on his wall.

So why doesn’t he just sell the house and they can get a much smaller house or a condo?

And I guess we’re never going to see what happened after somebody’s stuff got destroyed? The owner’s going to be suing Tom for big bucks since we know Tiffany didn’t have anything in place to cover damaged belongings.

Or how about show more Luann cause it is her strip?!!

What could possibly go wrong with this idea?

Let’s see. “Safety. Nervous. Cop Ox”. Next business venture is security agency. Might be interesting to see the characters Tiff hires other than Ox.

I think this just proves that Tiffany is indeed her father’s daughter. I’m sure Tom’s early money-making attempts were equally sketchy.

First Ox is the ‘PR czar’. Now he is the ‘business cop’, much better than all of his earlier images. But wait, Waremanse wasn’t a dumb business idea, i.e. big house, lots of space that no one is using, how can it be monetized? Tiff’s ideas have been mostly good, and if Tom doesn’t like Tiff being all alone in that big house why doesn’t he spend more time there himself?

Ox is the best boyfriend Tiff will ever have and she doesn’t know it. (yet?)

R.I.P. Judith Durham, lead singer of “The Seekers” ( “I Know I’ll Never Find Another You”, “Georgie Girl”), one of the greatest voices of our time. Personally one of my favorites. A sad day. :-(

I thought we were going to have a plot where her dad realizes he isn’t spending enough time w Tiff, guiding her, being a real dad for her….oh well.

Here we have a comfortable, compatible couple, Is it asking too much to also let them have an impulsive “moment” of romance and discovery?

Tiffany cannot be alone in that big house. There must be some staff to clean, cook, and take care of the grounds.

IMO it wasn’t that dumb of a business idea, it just wasn’t thought out that well.

Perhaps improvising “Cop Ox” was a cop-out for #16.

I like how Tiffany has changed over the years…

Tiffany is now turning into a user. She learned her lesson when she was moving those heavy boxes around. All she has to do is have other people to carry out her business plans. Ox can be a cop and Les can be a personal dishwasher. She’s lucky to live in a community where the general public will jump at whatever kooky, unprofessional farce she comes up with LOL!

Cop Ox? Is that a take off on the worse TV show I ever watched “Cop Rock”?

Tiff is like a lot of entrepreneurs, she have to go through a bunch of bad ideas until she hits on just the right one for her.

He’s worried about her alone in that big house but Mr. Big Businessman can’t figure a way to work in the same town so he can come home every night.

I have a dream….

Well, two dreams. In the first, which I prefer but will never happen, Luann is seen walking up the steps to Pitt High School and sits down next to Bernice who has her old krinkle-cut hair. Luann declares, "I had the strangest dream last night… and you were there (points to B.) and you were there (points to Gunther and Tiffany but not Delta) “I dreamed we’ds all gone to college and got stupid.” Delta asks “What am I, chopped liver?” and the next day Luann explains that Delta had gone to HBCU Howard and explands on her dream. And thus the past five years of the strip is “Dallased” in oblivion.

My second dream has Tiffany, annoyed by Stefini, going to the Dean and demanding a new roommate. She’s assigned to a regular two person dorm and discovers her new roommate is — Luann! This would bring the original cast much closer together, allowed for longer, more continued stories. Where Bernice fits into this I don;t know. Maybe she fills the spot in the quad made when Tiffany left.

Oxford is such a Good Guy, pure of heart! Tiffany and he belong together, but not in the “Cop Ox” business!

Don’t pull that trigger, Tiffany! Don’t get yourself into a heap of trouble, Oxford!

The whole idea of Tiffany getting a business degree was so she could start her own beauty salon, TiffasNails.

Has she forgotten about it completely? Cosmetics is her specialty, after all.

If Dear old Daddy is so worried about his only daughter being alone in that huge house, perhaps he should think about spending more time in that house with her. And maybe help her set up TiffasNails.
