I have the absolute strongest picture in my head of Jules doing the “Hello My Baby Hello My Honey” dancing frog bit from Looney Tunes on the windowsill. He stops when the Woman is looking and starts again when only the cats (or us) are watching.
Rookie mistake, woman. You don’t release them near the window—you take them out on the porch, make sure the doors and windows are closed, then you give them a toss to get them airborne. Then you have to hope they don’t get back inside the way they got inside in the first place.
Situations like this are usually where I bring out the old flicking finger and send that guy flying. Of course, the July Bug would just turn around and fly right back in. The only solution is to wait until it’s not July anymore.
Jules, Jules, Jules, reexamine your situation Jules. You’re in a house full of cats. Cats, not surprisingly love to catch, play with and kill/eat bugs. It’s just part of their nature. It’s time Jules to find a safer, if not greener pasture. Otherwise……….
Mayhem erupted at the woman and mans house today when a pack of cats attacked an intruder. The July Bug reportedly broke into the residence uninvited. The brave cats defended their home and the humans from this menace with vigor. It is reported that July Bugs are quite tasty, especially with sriracha aioli. Film at eleven.
I have a bugcatcher; when I catch something in my room (usually late at night for some reason), I bring the whole thing downstairs, open the slider, and pull the trigger to open the plastic bristles. If it doesn’t drop/fly away, I rap the catcher sharply against the side of the slider. I’m showing you mercy, bug, but this is a limited time opportunity!

Busted flat and unamused, July bug still remained
Now he’s feelin’ somewhat faded at the seams
Lupin thumbed some toe beans ’round and no one complained
Causing squeees all the way to New Orleans
Alice pulled her harpoon out of her pretty red bandana
She’s playin’ soft while Jules sings the blues, uh huh
Lupin’s paw is slappin’ time, wantin’ to join that bug in crime
Jules sang every song that you ever knew
Freedom is just another word for nothin’ left to lose
Nothin’, don’t mean nothin’ hon’ if it ain’t free, no-no
And feelin’ good was easy, Cat, when Jules sang the blues
You know feelin’ good was good enough for me
Good enough for me and that twirlin’ buggy

Thomios: Hello, everyone. Can I interest you in a piece of cheesecake?
Baba-Stet: That would be most appreciated. With cheesecake, can the Royal Procurers be far away?
Agnes-Ata: Not at all. Here we all are.
Puckmosis: Have you met Miss Marvel from Agatha’s Village?
Agnes-Ata: Yes, we’ve met. Is there a mystery apaw?
Miss Marvel: You can all call me Jane. Yes, Agnes. We’d like to know if you can help us.
Ta-Natash: I’ll bet this about the marketplace robberies.
Pucmosis: Yes, Tash. We know you didn’t have anything to do with them, but we wondered if you may have some insights.
Tash: I can tell you this. The perpetrator seems to be capable but inexperienced.
Puckmosis: Why do you say that.
Violet-Ifa: The robberies are done very stealthily, but they made one major rookie mistake.
Alice-Ata: Yes. They tried to take a heavy wheel of cheese. The first rule of cheesetaking is never try to take something you can’t lift.

Hymn by Albert E. Brumley: I’ll Fly Away
In a while when I’m good and ready
I’ll fly away
I’m content to just walk around in circles,
Then I’ll fly away.
…….
I’ll fly away when I want to
I’ll fly away
’Till then just try
To make me leave and say goodbye
I’ll fly away!
…….
There’s a screen that’s open, when I want to
I’ll fly away!
To the outside I will go and then
I’ll fly away!
…….
I’ll fly away when I want to
I’ll fly away
’Till then just try
To make me leave and say goodbye
I’ll fly away!
…….
Just a few more days left in July
I’ll fly away
August will be coming by and by
I’ll fly away!
……
I’ll fly away when I want to
I’ll fly away
’Till then just try
To make me leave and say goodbye
I’ll fly away!

If the woman wants the July bug to go outside, she should go out there and set up a kiddie pool full of water.
There’s nothing July bugs like more than to drown themselves in large bodies of water.
