Behold the puck soothing pumpkins!

A pumpkin-spice fog? I’ve seen that before! (Usually in Starbucks or Dunkin’ Donuts.)

And the Woman saves the day!

Saved by the pumpkins!

Goldie is right — pumpkins are quite peaceful. It’s the Killer Tomatoes they need to avoid!

I think I’d love a slice of Pumpkin Spice Fog, but only after I have a hearty bowl of Pea Soup Fog first …

Goldie brings the Good News Snark.

Looking forward to my first slice of Frisch’s pumpkin pie.

I’m not sure I’d trust pumpkins, either.

Fwump IS the exact sound a comforter makes when you shake/fluff it of out!

Oh but the threatening leaves still lurk beneath . . . when the quilted pumpkin fog lifts . . .

Okay so I was wrong the people were prepared for this. Either way this is an adorable way to end a thoroughly , wonderfully ridiculous storyline and my first full one since joining the Orb. Also I thought of the four main cats doing this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a3t3IKlXqFU because the song came to mind recently and the woman (and thus georgia) was mentioned to be a Red Dwarf fan at one point.

They brought out the anti-leaf insurance, and it’s blanket coverage…

Lovely, Puck is at peace once more.

Quilts have a soothing effect on cats. Fluffy blankets even more so.

Or a sneaky thwump from Lupin as he leaps on through the air,

Pumpkin quilts on fleecy blankets are a great place for a nap

Once again our brave house panther gives those leaves their deserved slap!

Elvis reports and Goldie relates now that everything is well,

And now Pucky can start napping after giving those leaves heck!

Right now we don’t see Lupin, what does that mischief-cat intend?

Could there be an unexpected thwump from our mischievous friend?

Now this story arc is over, but everyone’s aware,

That there are many more adventures for our cat friends over there!

Don’t you mean felicidal?

I guess pumpkins have saved the day here. Back to the window for Puck. Although perhaps we should worry about Goldie putting ideas in Puck’s head. They can’t hurt you, Pucky!
