Love the pictures on the fridge. Such small spaces for so much detail!

It’s Super Elvis. Here to save the packing peanuts for future generations no doubt.

That last shot of him darting with one in his mouth past the woman and the boy is the kind of visual I love this strip for. Simple, adorable, hilarious, and oozing with character. Exactly what a comic strip shoudl be.

And so begins the packing peanut migration. With a lot of help from Elvis.

Sure, Elvis, The Woman will never find them there.

Good thing nobody allergic to them peanuts.

You got a box, then you left the cats alone with it. What have we learned today, Woman? What I learned is that Elvis is at his speediest when he’s on a mission, be it rescuing friendly cats or hiding packing peanuts.

One never knows when the need for packing peanuts will arise. Elvis will be prepared for any peanut emergency. Someday, the Woman will thank him.

I love the last panel, I can almost hear Elvis’ maniacal laugh as he streaks by with a packing peanut in his mouth!

The letters on the fridge are “cats” then “RF” and “GD.” I’m assuming “GD” is Georgia. Is “RF” The Man’s name? Or am I reading way too much into the letters?

Wow, these have got to be some of the dumbest pet owner on the planet. Anyone that owns either cats or dogs, or in our case both, knows better than to leave things like packing peanuts unattended.

A few years ago I ordered some plants that came packed in peanuts. I made the mistake of leaving the box unattended in my yard. It was discovered by a squirrel that had as much fun as any cat, digging with abandon. Oh, what a mess to clean up in my yard!

Rerun pays off! I did not see Baby Puck pic on refrig the first time around!

See? I told you! I told you all about how cats hoard those things, and none of you believed me!

…well, no, a lot of you believed me because you’ve also seen it happen. But dangit, my Cassandra complex is hungry this morning!

They don’t use packing peanuts anymore because they’re made from styrofoam. They use paper mostly. My cats loves playing with sheets of brown paper from deliveries. My husband covers him with it and tries to get out, rolls him up in it & calls him a “kitty taco”. They’re full of tears and claw marks before I recycle them! I don’t buy cat toys except for the furry mice at Petsmart. He tosses them all over and chews the heck out of them.

Heathcliff also likes peanuts, at least today.

I have occasionally seen Bartholomew emulate Elvis in the last panel.

We used to give our cats the little rings off the milk jugs to play with. You wouldn’t believe how many milk rings were found when we moved the fridge. Then again, you probably would believe it. After all, most of you are also owned by cats.

No baby Elvis. No baby Lupin. Puck is so important they still have his baby picture on the fridge. Right above the Baby’s bath picture.
