I’ve mixed rice krispies and rice Chex together for years. Not a true mix though. More like the Chex are a topping. Something about the extra crunch appeals to me.

Actually that sounds like a great idea, only you would wind up with cups of cereal that would take a mixing bowl to eat out of.

I’ve done that before when I had only a little of a bunch of different cereals to make one bowl. I had mixed results.

She shouldn’t be that way. With only Nelson as the kid who would eat cereal regularly, they have too many kinds. I would bet a lot of it is pretty old and either needs eating or thrown out. Earl is just doing his part.

Whenever I hear of something with health benefits, I add it to my morning cereal. The current list is: large flake oats, oat bran, wheat germ, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, almonds, ground flax seed, Thompson raisins, raw cranberries, gooseberries, and blueberries, with skim milk.

My grandma was so frugal that she’d pour the remnants of every box of cereal when there wasn’t enough in any box for a full bowl together. Word of advise. Wheeties, Klackers, Apple Jacks and Rice Krispies DO NOT got together…

I mix four different cereals together in a 2 1/2-gallon ice cream tub. Two for flavor and two for fiber. It is a very tasty mix and it makes me a regular guy.

2oz each of 2 brands of cereal, 1 tbs each of 4 no sugar added fruits, half a banana, 5 oz 2% milk, + 2 meds, +1 vitamin cap, +1 omega cap. Tasty, filling, lasting – good stuff.

I’ve been mixing cereal since I was a teenager. (In my late 60s now). I consider it an art! Some mix well and you end up with something great. Others…not so much. You just have to experiment. It’s sortavalmost like cooking.

A dietary supplement was marketed toward seniors. The name of the product suggested it was formulated for seniors. Ads on TV suggested viewers had “iron poor blood” and emphasized the iron content. It was later discovered seniors need less iron, and are more likely to suffer an iron overdose.

I’ve always mixed my cereal. Plain cereal on bottom, sweet cereal in the middle, and flakes on top. I usually buy Kroger or Malt-O-Meal brand. So, toasted oats, fruit rings, and raisin bran is the usual combination.
