There you have it… The Get Piro competition has officially started! lol

It’s hilarious to hear Bernice say “friends first” when she’s been a pretty awful friend to Luann, for some time now. And how is Piro a “cherished, dear friend” when Luann has only known him for a little while?

On a side note.. I’d like to say R.I.P. to Tina Turner, who passed away at 83. She was an incredible singer and a Music Legend . “What’s Love Got To Do With It?” was a great song… one of many she had. She will be missed.

You both just made this awkward for Jack. Piro doesn’t want to date right now. Honestly, he might not even like women. Which would be a good plot twist.

The green-eyed monster has finally awoke. Jack is going to need more than a gallon of “calming balm” Maybe a fifth of Jack Daniels.

Is anyone else old enough to remember when Jack was introduced as quasi-Neanderthal? Suddenly, he’s the smartest one of the group.

Gallon? How about a tanker, as in railcar tanker.

“Piro is a cherished, dear friend….” Sounds like something Luann would say about Gunther or even Bern when they are not bickering. How long has Luann known Piro, a few weeks in Ms Horner’s class? Anyhow, for a second day in a row Jack hits the nail on the head and exposes the ladies’ ulterior motives; competition for a guy, in this case Walt. I like the annoyed squint Bern is giving Luann as what Jack said begins to sink in.

Most guys ARE looking for a girlfriend. But Piro needs to encounter one on his wave length. Note Nil got close with Tara at least for a while – she’s fun – and no pressure to escalate the relationship.

Why do women fight over men? IMHO, no man is worth losing a friendship over!!

Bernice is so (censored) jealous that Luann has taken the time to actually try to get to know Walter/Piro, whereas she was too chickensh!t scared to, and made a snap decision about him.

Walt Starr didn’t want see a portrait of Jack and Bernice. A source of negative energy?

Jack is really good at understanding people and animals. He knows what could happen and has warned his friends, but they seem to march towards an unavoidable competition. Let’s hope the fight will be quick and Jack is ready to be there to assist those who will be injured. Piro could be the cause of the end of Luann and Bernice’s friendship, or at least the occasion for a sincere confrontation between the two. But I’m afraid that in the end, Luann will always choose Bernice, but I don’t know if she will choose Luann.

The conceit in Bernice never fails to come out.

I think in the long run they’ll both be better off without the Piro guy. He feels sorry enough for himself to last a lifetime.

Just as has been HINTED!! They both are fascinated with Walt/Piro, which Jack, quite clearly sees. He is almost like a big brother to the two friends. He is the not bright, nor shiny black hole of a character, sucking them both in, not intending to, or is he? Luanverse time will tell.

Jack doesn’t want one either. It’s 2023. Young men are not interested in relationships with the opposite sex anymore.

I’m not liking the gals’ “competitng” for Piro as a boyfriend. It has an Ick factor times ten. They are supposed to be FRIENDS and friends, especially BEST FRIENDS should not do this. It makes me respect both of them less. Also, they are showing no a lack of respect for him as a person and as a troubled individual. Yes, be his friend. He needs that. But I hope he winds up dumping both of them out of his life for Dez!!!!!!!

It could be worse than competing for a boyfriend, if they see him as a project…..

Luann and Bernice are like sharks in a baby pool. You would think that with a university and a community college in town, they wouldn’t have to pounce on the new man in the neighborhood like dogs on a bone LOL!!

These two are hopeless. I do kind of wonder what Jack’s sentence “You two competing over a guy is-” was going to finish with. My own guess is “asinine.” These two are so dingy and ego-centric they’d both be wrong for Piro.

Pedro is Luann’s FWB which, BTW, makes The Count sick. Seriously. So disappointed in Luann. Pedro the Swine is pity predator preying on innocent, naive girls. Well, yeah, you’re right… our Dearest Ann❤️Eiffel does the same thing to innocent, naive men but Ann❤️Eiffel’s goal is economic enhancement rather than a selfish, self-serving boink and run. That is one of the many reasons we ❤️ Honest Ann❤️Eiffel. When asked the question “Will you still respect me in the morning?” Dearest Ann❤️Eiffel replies, “Why should Ann❤️Eiffel? Oops… P.S. and Spoiler Alert… Pedro’s story was a complete and phony, bald faced lie. Pedro is really the trust fund baby of a corrupt business man with strong financial ties to chemical companies in China exporting fentanyl to the United States as well as biotoxin labs in Wuhan. Pedro is heaving invested in the same companies. Like father like son. NOW… TTFN until tomorrow… same time, same station… Count OUT!

Do we know anything about Jack’s background? To me, he is the most interesting character in the strip. Yes, Luann has lots of interesting characters…too many, I would argue. But we know more about them.

Jack may need another gallon AND a good bit of Dez’s tea. Is that last jar still available? Luann seems very focused on Piro, enough to miss Bernice’s meaning. Meanwhile, I think Piro was a bit jealous of Bernice’s interest in Jack. Lots of misunderstandings? ;-o

Jack is so perfect for Luann, or anyone else as long as they like animals.

This is why Tara warned Luann against going after Piro. She knew what Luann would do.

We have no way of knowing whether Piro is looking for a girlfriend. He has not mentioned anything about his dating life lately. He just said he wanted to be alone after his reading. He did not mean he wants to be alone forever, just to unwind after being around a lot of people.

I’m curious. Who are the two of you trying to fool.
