Definitely not a welcoming position to most other creatures!

I certainly wouldn’t poke my head (or any other body part) out.

Now, Tommy, we know you know about belly rubs. Even the birds can’t resist! You should try that, and teach it to Beatrix, because kitten tummies are irresistible.

I’m hoping the mole might be a Star-Nosed Mole. They look like little Cthulhus.

I am so loving Beatrix and her little cake! Strawberry short cat? She is adorable.

I must be hungry, because the mole hill in panel two reminds of a chocolate lava cake …

Tomorrow maybe a mole will be next to them, also staring into the hole. “What are you doing?”

And the wiggling butts are always hilarious. My Sara does that, but almost never pounces. She’ll act like she’s going to pounce on Gracie, but hers are butt wiggles of discretion. She is well versed in the old adage discretion being the better part of valor.

Those two are the cutest and most clueless critters in the world. Love the little cake and Bea’s twitching tail. If I were a mole I’d be more than a little concerned.

That’s what Mr Kitty did before he pounced on the vole tunnel. The trick was he’d pounce ahead of the vole, concuss the little creature, dig him up, and finish him.

Robber mice are there to give advice. Back up, kitties.

Beatrix has failed to do her research. Moles prefer to eat worms and grubs and subterranean insects!

I presume that’s a note that Alice has either just received or is getting ready to mail?? At first I thought it was a mask, but it doesn’t have any strings. Any other ideas??

How can anyone be threatened or intimidated by a Tommy ButtWiggle?

To a mole, their posture could be misinterpreted as looking somewhat mole-levolent!

Cats do the butt wiggle just before pouncing. They are scary to prey species.

well, this is the most comments I’ve seen, ESPECIALLY when they’re all about the strip, and not somebody’s stupid political view, or a self pity show.

They might have a bunny pop out, saying “I knew I shoulda taken that left toin at Albakoikie”

Tommy, Bea, those butt wiggles and fangs will not inspire confidence in any moles.

OT: Mouse has moved the kittens back into the boxspring again, far enough that I can’t reach them.

Don’t moles have poor or low vision (from living underground)? We may see some cute eyewear in future panels.

Nice try cats. That is your ready to pounces upon prey and eats them position. Too bad you not does that to those micerable pests.

I think Tommy & Bea should come back in the evening. After all, Moles are nocturnal.

Albert was not a butt-wiggler. He just pounced on his prey without warning. Bartholomew, however, is a most enthusiastic butt-wiggler.

Maybe try to look less like predators, guys. The little cake helps.

Trish O’Doyle: Trevor-Hotep has planted several varieties of potatoes that I think would be perfect for making potato salad.

Agnes-Ata: I think it might be a good idea to visit the Cosmo Nursery.. Nothing like summer fruits and vegetables.

Duffy O’Doyle: But it might be a challenge to bring them back here. What’s the first rule of procuring?

Agnes: Never take anything you can’t lift. We’ll need to enlist the help of other Procurer guilds.

Trish: I’m sure the Beaver Guild would help. And maybe the groundhogs as well.

Agnes: They may not chuck wood, but they can carry vegetables, no problem.

Agnes: I’ll talk to Talpi Mole. He has contacts all over the place.

Agnes: We’ll be visiting Trevor-Hotep at Cosmo Nursery soon. We may need help from the other Procurer Guilds to transport food.

Talpi: I’ll see what I can do. Have you met my cousin Kate?

Kate: Likewise. If those Guilds don’t help I’ll be sure to give them what for! No excuses!

Robber Mice! We haven’t seen them in a while.

They just want to jump on them, and hug the and give them little love nibbles, maybe some low fives. You know how frustrating it is when you love someone and they try to pull away? Well they have little grippy grabbies to hold you closer! “Come here you delicious little thing, I could just eat you up!”

Be ware moles, be ware. Remember this is a Cat welcoming committee. They will welcome you as a play toy and a meal. You’ve been warned.

Unless that’s a worm and bug cake, it isn’t going have any appeal for a mole.

It IS a very welcoming position. It welcomes their next meal.

Agnes is correct. Their welcoming position will scare away the mole.

They should be lying on their backs.

All those cheerful, sharp teeth aren’t frightening at all.

I think these two cats need a 1 molal solution. One or more molar will never do.

I almost missed today’s strips but I love the accidental murder vibes, and “I baked a tiny cake”.. which surely sent elvis on a rant about fire saftey, trevor and kids today in that order.

Oh, Beatrix, you little darling, you. I don’t think the moles are gonna want the cake, though; just sayin’.
