introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
I think that warning might have come too late. They are seriously outnumbered. We need a coalition of the good and fury to take on these nasty, rude, mean lawn potatoes!
I think that qualifies as a āhordeā, although Iām sure thereās some eccentric term for a group of moles. A troop? A squadron? A march? Who decides this stuff?
I have no idea how Georgia is going to get her usually happy ending out of this chaos!!! I mean, I trust that she will, but how ?will it be Jules, Baba, Wicket, the rest of the robber mice, or those animals from the shelter that we only met at the end of the Baba/Wicket story The Golden Mouse or someone completely unknown to us???? I do believe in Georgia, I do, I do. I do believe in Georgia , I do I do I do.
This is beautiful artwork and gets my Reuben vote. Iām hoping something in the next few days will be as beautiful with more plot or character or humor.
Our lawn feels like we have that many moles. I donāt mind them though. But I think we also have an equal number of volesā¦.. thatās been a problem!! ( A costly problem!)
Hereās a little fun fact about moles. [ Mole tunnels have rooms, including kitchens for storing earthworms to eat later.] I knew you all would love to read that fact. LOL.
Talpi Mole: Alright everyone, The Spud Chuckers will have their first scrimmage. Digby, you start digging the tunnel, Rollo, you aim for the goal hill that Digby digs. And Blocker, whereās Blocker?
Monty Mole: He had to help Burt-Raās crew with the grounds repair.
Talpi: Thatās right. Heāll be along soon. But we need someone in goal for our practice.
Molvina: I think I know someone who can fill in.
Sometime Later
Blocker: Here I am. Sorry the grounds repair took so long.
Talpi: No problem. You go to the mole hill and tend goal.
Rollo: Not a moment too soon. I couldnāt get a single potato past that goalie.
Molvina: She did have an unfair advantage. Still, I wish she could join the team.
Weāre going to keep fighting. Is that CLEAR? Weāre going to attack all night; weāre going to attack tomorrow morning. If we are not VICTORIOUS, let no Racoon come back alive!
That is a lot more moles than weāve seen previously! Disappointingly, only Montague has a cool outfit. Hopefully this battle proves to be a temporary setback and Queen Mag and the raccoons can return with reinforcements.
I was going to alter this to fit the story arc, but the original is so powerful, I just couldnāt.
take it as it is, or use your imagination to change a bit here or there.
āWe shall go on to the end, we shall fight in France, we shall fight on the seas and oceans, we shall fight with growing confidence and growing strength in the air, we shall defend our Island, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrenderā WInston Churchill (of course).
I canāt stop laughing. I read the comic right after spending a couple of hours watching the new volcano in Iceland grow. Now I keep thinking moles are going to pop out any time now
Can someone tell me when the previous Raccoon story arc was? I must not have followed it closely, as I donāt remember very much about themā¦ Mea culpa
21 moles already and there are more still arriving. Can Mags and company play music and get them to dance the night away? Since there are moles in atoms (or is it the other way around), donāt believe them, they make up everything.

Excellent use of flower pots, and moles as far as the eye can see. Are we also seeing a tinge of the Northern Lights in that night sky?

They were a little too small, couldāve used a few pounds
Clawsā sharp points, daggers renowned
She was awakened rudely āneath starry skies
Shaken from her throne, sittinā way up high
Way up firm and high
Out past the cornfields where the woods got heavy
Ground all dug up in little mounds like levees
Workinā on mysteries without any clues
Wonderinā how the night moves
Tryinā to make some front page breakinā news
Workinā on their night moves
In the summertime
Umm, in the sweet summertime

A group of moles is called a ālabourā ā likely because of their hard-working nature, tunneling up to 200 metres a day.
