I never thought about a wall to wall mural of the magnificent 7. Seems like a good idea.

Or the Latin-American stand-off of the Good, the Bad & the Ugly. (Can’t say Mexican, nowadays.)

After a while some couples almost don’t have to say anything to each other – they can just read each other’s minds.

Which version of The Magnificent Seven? The Yul Brynner-Steve McQueen Classic? The Denzel Washington-Chris Pratt version? The poorly remembered 1998-2000 TV version with Michael Biehn and Michael Close? Or the 1996 U.S. Women’s Olympic Gymnastics team?

Based on the comments, The Magnificent Seven seems to have generated the most interest.

We actually had a mural once. It was an autumn forest with nice colors. This was in the seventies though, so there is “that”.

Wait until Opal tells Earl that they are going to crochet them together. I would like to see Earl try to crochet, as long as they have scissors around to free Roscoe and the cat once he wraps them up somehow while crocheting.

I like the mural idea

I could go for the taco bar! The moose lamp or the Magnificent Seven poster, not so much…

You can almost hear Earl’s train of thought derailing.

Don’t give an inch, Opal. In the first year of my marriage, I allowed my spouse’s trashy “male decor” because we didn’t have much in the way of furnishings.

Forty years later we still have booze-bottle lamps, a Remy Martin mirror, and a pool table. The pool table stays- it’s great for gift-wrapping and folding laundry, but I’ll sneak the lamps and the mirror out of the house some day. At least Billy, the singing bass is gone!
