Yeah, Wicket, the fields don’t have heating pads. Really think about what you’d be “winning” out there.

And the Razzy for worst actor in a tragically comedic downfall goes to……. NO, the Judges have ruled that even though Wicket’s performance was terrible, he was disqualified for being such a jerk! Maybe if he asks nicely, Lupin will give him a few gum balls to make his beak feel SO much better.

Well, I’m glad that’s over. Although Wicket seems to be a LOT more into going to Quinn Wildlife than he was earlier this week.

Wicked Wicket is a demanding old cuss. He deserves to be back in custody.

Now, to resolve the mole madness.

    Meanwhile, Back on the Nile

Sophititi: So now we know how to use the colored gems to represent gumballs that Lupinium’s descendant accidentally spilled.

Maat-Tilda: And the moles all accidentally tripped over.

Wicket: This is all very fascinating, but how did you get ahold of these stories from the future.

Tillie: The Royal Procurers have ways of which we know not.

Wicket: And what about that n’er do owl who happens to be my namesake?

Adobe Style: I understand he went back to the rescue farm and fared better than he deserved.

Soph: True. There is a song that was written to commemorate the occasion by ABBA:

Friday night and a crescent moon

The battle will be over soon

    The moles defeated by gumballs

The kit and kitten are safe

You need a vet for your face

Tommy and Soph’s woman is there to serve

Showing you kindness you don’t deserve

You have a setback, but you will be alright

Quinn farm will make things right

When you try to take flight

    You are the Drama King

    With your schemes

    Acting very mean!

Drama King, feeling rad with your heating pad, oh yeah!

You’ll be fed, you’ll be fine, having the time of your life

Ooh, see that owl, let’s all sing

    Diggin’ the Drama King!

“Honey? Why is the basement full of gumballs and stunned moles?”

Wicket’s war is over, so easy to see

That mean old scoundrel is no longer free

Listen, please listen, that’s the way it should be

Possums won’t help Wicky, he’s too ornery

    You should see

What a lovely, lovely world this’d be

Murderers put away forever, ah hah

    It’s so easy

To be scammed by charming dishonesty

Why can’t you and me learn to just not bother?

All the war’s over, so happy to see

Nasty old owl ain’t gonna be free (not gonna be free)

I can’t understand it, so evil to me

How he could attack li’l ’Ziney and Bea

Still don’t like to see him suffer though he deserves to be

As a finale, creatures are finally free

I’m sure everyone will live happily ever after—Wicket will be pampered (could you resist spoiling a non-releasable owl rotten if you had the chance—and I’m sure Wicket in captivity is a huge suck-up), the moles will go back to their own territory and live peaceably as before when Montague explains that he was “not himself”, and peace between cats, mice, guinea pigs, raccoons and possums will be maintained.

A biologist friend friend of mine and a real life owl rescuer told me that owls are (in her words) “the absolute dumbest of the raptors”, she laughed and told me “A brick might be slightly smarter!” Wicket needs to retire to the refuge and stay there!
