If Rat’s a gift, where’s the exchange counter?

Don’t fit into your narrative = insane.

Rat leaves a mark alright. But not the kind that people consider a gift.

For many, the mark they leave is just a grease spot on the highway of life.

Maybe is Rat’s “Gift for the Ages” bubonic plague?

Rat as a gift is what you end with if you loose at Dirty Santa.

Pig’s is a gift that keeps on giving!

Rat, you are just the crabgrass in the lawn of life!

It’s not what you take when you leave this world behind you, it’s what you leave behind you when you go.

You leave your mark by raising your children well.

In some ways commenting here could be considered an attempt at immortality.

Rat’s gift is narcissism and putting everyone down to build himself up.

Funny, my goal in life has always been to fly just under the radar….of teachers, bosses, neighbors, etc.

Pig has the better idea.

At the end of the day, Pig is more likely to end up on the pedestal.

Most of society’s systems have been corrupted by sociopaths to celebrate and reward sociopathy.

I hope that’s not everyone’s goal because most will miss the mark. We should strive for Pig’s goal. It’s more achievable.

I’m just looking for decent pastrami in the Bay Area.

I’m a retired school teacher, and that was my daily goal for my students. To make each student’s day a better day and to make them feel like they succeeded in helping others too. The older the students that I was teaching the harder it was. Years later. I had a few of my primary students thank me for that.

I’ll vote for Pig’s approach any day. There’s no “measure of immortality” in being famous, being remembered, even being loved after your death. Either there’s real immortality, or there’s nothing.

I think Pig’s strategy is wonderful.

Immortality isn’t.

You have to love the little guy, even just a little.

Even my dog (therapy dog) strives to make people happier in the hospital where she works. We volunteer there, so no benefit to her other than improving other people’s days, and she loves to go. Dogs are smarter than most people think.

Or you just might be a total Pr*ck!

i’m with Pig on this one. I wear socks with dogs on them to work. i get some smiles from our patients, ones that aren’t afraid of dogs. sometimes i’ll show them pictures of dogs i have on my phone

I should be better at reproducing, but the ladies aren’t having it.

Then I must be nuts, too. So long as people don’t come at me in bunches. I’m strictly one on one.

Pig is also trying to make an impact, but his vision is narrow and his mind small, so he doesn’t even think of a broad legacy.
