This is kind of what I was saying yesterday. There is someone more significant that Sprengstoff in this story, but we haven’t yet seen who it might be. In a more typical Tracy story, we would already know.

Even law “enforcement” could be culpable.

The soundtrack to Eric’s storytelling style would never be “Revolution” or “Helter Skelter”, but more along the lines of “The Long and Winding Road”.

Begging the question refers to circular reasoning. What we have, dear detective, is an unanswered question.

I appreciate the effort at crafting a detailed and thought out mystery, but if the story doesn’t offer any reason for us to care about the people involved in the mystery there is nothing emotionally driving the story. In any case, for what it’s worth, I enjoy colorful villains more in general who tend to generate some interest in their own right.

Maybe he planted a device somewhere before he was arrested…

Important message for the A.D.D. Our fellow Detective, JoshHere is in the hospital. He reached out to me and told me he was in a bad accident and is recovering slowly. He has a way to go. He gave me permission to share since we worry when one of us goes MIA. I’ll check in with him and post updates when possible. I’ve sent healing thoughts and prayers as he needs them. Sprengstoff’s “threat is neutralized.” Ummm. Who talks like that? They didn’t know until just now, while investigating his murder, that Sprengstoff had planted a bomb. He was a threat they didn’t know about. Tracy shouldn’t be concerned about Sprengstoff ever being a threat because he was neutralized before they even knew about it.

And who is talking in P3? Tracy? Why would he be concerned with the FBI? Is he being childishly territorial?
