It looks like another growth spurt for Tiffany. Hard-earned gains indeed, this time. I wonder if Greg will let her keep them, or will we see Tiffany reverting to form â again â in the next story arc?
Say! I believe someone (here?) called this very thing yesterday. Tiffâs Selling/pawning off her old, no longer quite fitting designer clothes. Hopefully Tiffany will do one H3LL of a lot BETTER selling HER stuff, than Gunther did last year selling Irmaâs furniture!
Poor Tiffany! âOne Broke Girl!â
But two questions remain:
1) Well Tiff make enough money selling her stuff to pay for her Summer lodging AND next Fallâs?
2) Will Ann Eiffel Angrily text Tom and complain that heâs spending too much money on turkey and rye? ;)
Like I said hardly anyone at the FUSE has not had a run-in with Ann, her reputation is pretty well established. But this is perfectly set-up for Luannverse to come after her maybe. TJ is going to find out why Tiffany is working overtime (the fact she did not get permission is Tiffany is true but not the point) and probably Les who hates his mom, and has basically disentangled himself from her, to say they are estranged is putting too nice of a term on it; is it not too much to predict (as much as we can with this wacky story strip) that Ann is about to get her comeuppance? If that does happen though, and how long and convoluted it happens to be, lets hope the growth that Tiffany is being forced to go through is for real and long-lasting. Donât get me wrong, I still want my brat Tiffany, just a better, wiser, more emphatically aware brat Tiff.
I applaud her for not being so attached to the clothes that sheâs willing to part with them..knowing that theyâre not important beyond the basics is a good sign of maturity for her.
All right fellow readers: next time your boss tell you that you canât do something, simply reply with âyes I canâ like Tiffany here, and see how well it works out for you. I assume your boss wonât buckle as quickly as TJ did.
Aha, but where are those clothes. Most likely not at the dorm since she had to get out and probably wasnât sufficient room for all of them. So what happens when she goes home to get them and will Ann âEvilâ stops her because âher father paid for those clothesâ (and, now, Ann will sell them and pocket the money?). Donât know if the Evans have this in mind, but it wouldnât surprise me.
Tiff has worn a large number of very revealing outfits over the years. Who will buy them â Luann, Tara, Pam, possibly even Bets? I donât think Des will change her style but thereâs another interesting possibility â is Bernice going to appear in a micro-minidress?
Well, no, she CANâT just work whenever she feels like it, the budget for the Fuse can probably only give her so many hours a week. The money for her extra hours have to come from somewhere. If she needs more money, she needs to find a better job.
Thisâll fix everything, Tiff! Iâm sure you can recoup a few pennies for every dollar spent, and before you know it, youâll have enough money for⊠a turkey on rye sandwich!
Now that Tiffany is selling her old designer duds, I wonder âWhoâ in the Strip would buy them?
1) Luann? Hmm. Not her style. But Wow, could you image Lu in those sexy outfits Tiff used to wear?
2) Bernice? Bernieâs a bit on the thin side, and those clothes would have to be taken in quite a bit. But that would be a perfect âbreakoutâ for her!
3) Tara? Definitely!!
4) Bets? Bets, I think, is a tad MORE Curvaceous than the old Tiffany was. But BOY HOWDY!!! Just the Thought Of Bets âPouringâ out of those old tight, sexy designer outfits of Tiffanys, is âcold shower inducing.â Gunther will have thought heâd gone to Heaven, twice! Nah, I donât think Bets would be a buyer. I DO think sheâll have Gunther sew her something one day. After shes make him âmeasure her.â REPEATEDLYâŠâŠ, ;)
My daughter constantly finds/buys desiger clothes, barely used, some brand new with tags still on, at thrift stores for next to nothing. $100 âsomethingâ for $1. And she always puts on the dog. I hope she retains this interest as she gets older.
I see ann buying all of tiffs items. then using them against her in a court of law.. Or maybe, we will see TJ convince tiff that she can stay in the extra bedroom they just built. I mean Tonyâs Neice isnât using it ALLL the time right?
Bit by bit, Tiffanyâs world is being taken from her. She is a world class bimbo and they are destroying a national landmark. âRevolt, peasants, save our favorite bimboâ.
Tiffany doesnât need all those clothes that no longer fit her. Sell them to a consignment shop and while sheâs at it she needs to pare down her shoes and purses as well. That may net her enough to live in the dorm again.
Some items may also be returnable to the store you purchased it from, I had a girlfriend who lived off of her wardrobe. She had bought a ton of clothing from money she got in an insurance settlement. She knew how to work clothing returns well as she worked in the business.
Tiffany has a lot to learn about business. I wonder whose money she is taking by working their shift? Ox wonât say anything to her if it is his shift, he is too nice. But other servers will surely tell her to stop it.
Weâre all talking here about how Tiff has changed but weâve missed the most significant fact. If daddy isnât providing money, then his hold on tiff slips and she can really let fly at Annie. âOr what dad? youâll cut me off? already did that.â
So much is happening to Tiffany right now. I hope her friends will stand beside her through it. The extreme amount of change that people go through at that age can throw them over the edge, and added problems make it worse. That is why depression is so common in that age group.
I knew a girl who was estranged from her widowed father for similar reasons, who left everything behind and went to stay with friends. She waited until her Dad was out of town and went home, got a few personal things, and cash she already had, her bank book and some clothes and was gone for almost a year. He had the police looking for her but she was 18. She was not HIDING, the cops found her walking down the main street and out mutual friendâs father, where she had been staying called the police himself to tell them that she was a GUEST in his home, using what HAD been his daughterâs room for as long as she needed it. Her Dad tried to bully him into âlettingâ her leave, saying he would press charges, which is why he had called the cops in the first place, which prompted the call from her hostâs house. The cops came, were invited inside, saw her living arrangement and left. Once her Dad saw he had no control, he tried to threaten her with cutting her off. She told him the only money she had taken was money she had earned herself. Her car was registered in her name, she had title, she had to transfer her insurance, though. It took 3 years before her father finally realized the woman HE was seeing was the shrew his daughter had tried to make him see. Yes there was a womanâŠand she had some skeletons. He overheard HERE on the phone one day talking , followed her and realized she was sneaking around with another guyâŠno hilarity ensued. He and his daughter eventually made up.
Iâm not so sure that Tiff would have collected lots of âoldâ clothes (ie: before the weight gain). Iâd think she was the type to rotate through new things constantly.
Want ad in Pittsâ local newspaper that caught Tiffanyâs eye. Wanted: Attractive bimbo, willing to upgrade to floozie. College degree, not required. Salary, embarrassingly high. Benefits, frequent. Apply local, state, or federal government offices.
Iâm hoping that Tiff can become self-supporting and that as a result olâ Tommy Boy will finally start using the head between his shoulders to do his thinking instead of the one between his legs that heâs been using thus far in his life with Ann Awful and perhaps will finally realize what an awful person she really is.
Letâs see⊠Ox helped her find her talent for cosmetology. Dez helped her get interested in a business degree and freed her from Anneâs monitored credit card (although Bernice had to show her how it actually works). Even Les helped her get a better job. Now itâs TJâs turn to help her out. While a rummage sale is indeed a great idea, she may not be allowed to have it on the campus.
I would hate to see Bernice have to shut that down, tooâŠ
Tiffany could even run a consignment store for other students out of her dorm room. And when Bernice shuts her down, she could set up shop in a vacant Student Union space.
âI need(ed) the moneyâ ⊠isnât that what people who commit robberies usually say? Letâs see, first, Tiffany hires herself to work at the local bistro because she âneeds moneyâ. Now she is scheduling her own overtime because she âneeds moneyâ. I guess her fellow workers are ok with her trying to bogart all the overtime. Nice. How is she getting away with all this stuff?
We are seeing the new âTiff on a missionâ; nothing or no one gets in her way. It is true that to succeed in anything these days you have to have laser-like focus and then still you may not.

To be honest, once Tiffany scales back her wardrobe, she might find that she does not need a dorm that size any more. Maybe just 10 closets is enough.
