So TJ is saying let her have her cake and eat it too. No need for details.

Next, if a special delivery arrives around November 14th, TJ may get to claim some naming rights.

This is not cute. She’s going to put the photo on social media and inadvertently lie to her friends about her husband making cake pops for her. TJ won’t be able to keep his mouth shut and will start trouble between them…that’s the only way it can go into next week, as it appears to be set to do. Nobody likes to be lied to, even about something trivial.

Let it go, Brad! So you’re not a great chef—so what? At least TJ has the good sense not to flaunt his contribution.

Lucky Brad. Toni is hands down the most together woman in this strip.

With the plain-Jane bow-wows like Luann and Bernice, I’d like to see more of the attractive females like Toni and Nancy.

It’s good to see TJ happy again. Last week he was irritated with Tiffany.

He’ll tell her and she’ll say “Oh of course he did Honey! It was sweet of you to get him to make something so nice for me!” and it will all be ok. More than ok.

Brad is in trouble if Toni thinks he really made the cake pops. Pretty soon other people will be asking him to make them for their kids and / or loved ones.

Isn’t the point of St. Valentine’s Day the recognition and expression of love? Well, it was expressed in this arc. The rest is irrelevant, isn’t it really?

It’s OK Brad, TJ used to get you in trouble all the time. So let him help now.

If you look at the newsletter they sent christmastime, the upcoming timeline shows next week starts with an S so either Shannon is coming to visit and the cake pops story continues or a storyline with Stef picks up again but either way the following week stays with an L so we should have a Luann storyline. Since the EEC’s tend to be more than a week I’m guessing Shannon is popping in for some cake pops.

A person willing to casually lie about trivial matters is willing to lie about important matters too. TJ is an untrustworthy snake.

My goodness, TJ has a manner of taking Brad’s thoughts and spinning a tale. He would have been a shoe-in for a show called “Spin City”.

Amen.

TJ is the kind of person who is incapable of being totally honest. He’s always making up excuses and twisting things to get what he wants. Sleezy is the word that comes to mind. I don’t care for the way they have him intruding in this marriage.

Of course, he knows Brad will confess, and he will get credit for the gift that impressed Toni, which is what he wanted all along.

I’m calling for a TJ arc, right now We need more TJ!

I actually agree with TJ here. Brad put in the work of mixing the cake and baking the cake. TJ just gave it a little shaping. Take the credit, Brad!

Toni knows, a girl knows these things. She is a good woman acknowledging her two good guys efforts. I would be thrilled if my guy even tried to bake something for me as it has never happened before.

I’ll give Brad some credit today, he wants to be honest with Toni. A good “ingredient” for any marriage.

Tell her, because otherwise she’ll think you’re a culinary genius, and you can’t sustain that.

Of course the episode isn’t over yet, and I admit that I haven’t been keeping statistics, but it seems to me that this is the first time I remember that one of TJ’s schemes to “help” Brad hasn’t backfired. (Or at least, yet.)
