I love the way Iggy’s tail looks like calligraphy in panel 2. ❤ Uh oh . . . looks like Uncle Lupin is teaching our young Iggy to harness the spirit of Puck (and I don’t mean the cat)! (cheeky giggles)

Looks like “Young Cat” may be wearing onesies. And is either bemused or worried by Lupin’s suggestion. So much for enjoying the “quiet hush of the night”…

Quick OT, no need to hide. When I emailed Mr. McDonnell a few years ago to ask about Mutts and where I could find it, he emailed back to me that he was not in syndication and was only doing his comic by email. I have never looked for it since and have never emailed him again to ask so thank you for the answers. He obviously has moved forward since our exchange :)

I don’t think “the quiet hush of the night” means the same thing to (deaf) Lupin. But I agree with Iggy. I like and need my quiet time.

This is why I don’t have shower curtains.

Unclear on the concept of peaceful and alone, Lupin-

I think Lupin is a little unclear on the concept still. Looking to have some alone time means being alone, ya goof.

Still, this might work out well for the two of them.

Can’t wait to see Lupin and Ora Zella get into mischief.

I guess one advantage of hearing loss is that you never hear the quiet hush of night being broken.

Puck is a much better role model than Lupin, Lord of Chaos.

It is SUCH a pleasure seeing that smile of Iggy’s. Love him (and all the others too).

Because he’s deaf, Lupin has no clue what “quiet” means.

The shower curtain is no match for Lupin.

With insomniac cats, restlessness and tear-orism are strongly associated. :)

When my cats were kittens they tore all the magnets out of my shower curtain liner.

Well, for Lupin, everything is always quiet. But I’m betting our new friend there isn’t yet aware of Lupin’s deafness…. or his raucous-ness!

All children must one day find out their dad is kinda nuts.

Iggy found out in the span of a week. It’s also nice to see my boy get his turn in the spotlight away from his bestie. Not that I don’t like their dynamic or deep friendship, it’s just Ora tends to talk loud over everyone, especially a quite shy boy who dosen’t like talking in the first place.

Again, as per usual, Lupin is so excited for doing something destructive. Georgia knows her cats. :-)
