Goldie being sweet to Lupin is a bit Twilight Zone. I still love the episode with Burgess Meredith as the man who just wants to be left alone to read his books.

Good advice Goldie and Goldie and Lupin are starting to sound like brother and sister.

Poor Lupin. He’s knee deep in the consequences of his actions. I can almost taste what way too much buttercream would be like. How something so tasty can become so foul.

Georgia: Did you mean to contrast chocolate ganache with buttercream frosting?♥ (Former baker/cake decorator here. Buttercream is a type of frosting/filling, not a flavour. Chocolate buttercream is a thing.)

And, if the choice is the hard tile/wood or carpet, make sure you miss the hard floor buy just an inch and hork on the edge of the carpet.

I sense a thawing in the Goldie/Lupin cold war. Dummies.

Poor Lupin is feeling the consequences. Goldie isn’t twitting him enough to not care.

You have to love affectionate insults. They are the foundation of many a good frenemy relationship.

I can’t believe I ate the whole thing…

This reminds me of something I found written on the inside wrapper of a Bazooka Bubble Gum wrapper (remember those?) when I was nine years old:

Mary had a little lamb, a lobster and some prunes.

A glass of milk, a piece of pie, and then some macaroons.

It made the waiters grin to see the lady order so.

And when they carried Mary out, her face was white as snow.

Well, Goldie & Lupin sure sound like siblings.

Poor Lupin doesn’t look so well. Good thing the cake wasn’t made of chocolate.

Lupin, you look the way I’ve felt for the past few days! Feel better soon!

And be sure it’s on the carpet not a rug or hard floor.

O.T. Disappointment

At least those two have a truce.

I first found BCN on the Oregonian. A friend later told me about The ORB. She later lost her internet and I have been reading the strip and the ORB to her every day for the past few years. The Oregonian still carries BCN.
