Lose the deer-eyes-in-the-headlight look. It makes you look like a victim which you hate. Then say, “Oh Stef? Kip invited me to the Blackout which is why I changed clothes and was heading out to the party. I’m not going to the study group. Let’s walk there together?” Knock her off balance, Tiff.

Okay, THAT did it. After this I say that Tiff should RAT ’em ALL out to the campus cops. (Discreetly, of course)

But first, Tiff should call Bets and get her in place. Her Instagram followers might LOVE to see the Hall A Gang hauled away in handcuffs for possible underage drinking and illegal gambling.

(Yes that was mean, but this bunch is ASKING for it)

Heh, I called it yesterday! Steffi announcing to the party crowd that Tiff “volunteered” to be the lookout. So, if Tiff appears at the party, it would make for an awkward moment, “Tiff, darling, weren’t you supposed to be keeping the Li’l Dictator away? Go back and do your duty… take one for the team (and leave the partying to us)”. Peer pressure.

1st panel: Steff has something stuck in her teeth. Tiffany is in a trance. Her mind is going very deep and into a very dark place. 2nd panel: Neither Hair nor Steff realize that Tiffany is about to snap out of her trance and stuff Stephani’s little hair bow up the closest butt she can find.

Well one thing I can say to sum up this this week, this arc is dripping in irony. I do hope Tiffany can figure out a way to outplay Stefi, at some point, and realize how no-good the QT QB is really. The best revenge, other than ratting them out, is to graduate in the long run, while Stefi flunks out.

Staph is a walking social infection, treating Tiff like a pawn on her chess board. Tiff hardly gets to say anything, and Staph doesn’t really know her at all, or probably anyone else either, and doesn’t want to. The new standard air-head against which all other air-heads will be measured. Like an Evil-Anne Junior. But if Tiff deflates her, it will be hard to put up with her being a roommate afterwards. Unless Staph gets booted out altogether. Evil Anne Sr. and Jr. are terminally ‘cool’, and have weaponized ‘coolness’. Staph is the new ‘anti-cool’.

Awwww…. I love stories when the once shallow or lazy student go through a series of events that make it become a good and serious student. This may be started with a huge equivocation, but it’s the kind of equivocation that i love, makes me laugh and hope for a real character development. HOORAY FOR TIFFANY, THE NERDY HERO!

Tiff had just been played like a violin by Ole Bright Eyes; “Miss Bird” to some. Squared away and pigeonholed safely away from Kip the QT QB. How quickly her jelly bean friend(s) have cut her out.

We’ll have to wait until next week (maybe later) to find out hew Tiff will deal with that “What Just Happened?” stare she’s exhibiting.

Tiff has been outmaneuvered (out-girl-neuvered?). Perhaps Greg will play it as Tiff accepting her fate only to be rescued by a princely Kip. While that makes for a happy story for Tiff, it leaves her with a probable archenemy for a roommate. At this point, another archenemy is the last thing Tiff needs.

OK, time for Tiff to come out of shock and speak up for herself. She could start by saying in a very loud, clear, carrying voice:

“HOLD IT! I never volunteered for ANYTHING! Someone else” (while staring hard at Stefi) “volunteered me, WITHOUT asking if I had any other plans. Well, I do, and they DO NOT include sentry duty, so…..BYE!”

Then she should grab her purse and run out the door. Where to? Don’t know, but someone in a previous comment said she should go to Gunther with a heartfelt apology and a plea for help with her studies. Not a bad idea, that.

I am still a bit confused…. Stephani was going to the Union…. what need would they be to keep the RA at bay when the Union would be another building? I amPresuming “The Blackout” was or is referencing a dorm room party which would then make looking out for the RA valuable. So…. somehow I missed something here…. apparently Stephani is NOT going to the Union but is instead going to the dorm party? That seems the only logical way to interpret this to me….. but it was presented differently so I still feel confused.

In high school, Tiffany was popular for far different reasons. None of which involved studying. Nerds were targets for bullies.

Now, in college, if a nerd is willing to babysit the R.A., that nerd becomes a hero.

Tiffany knows she needs to study, but she’s not capable of studying on her own. She needs help, and not be distracted by all these secret parties.
