Oh, that shameless,Seamus! I see a wee boot flying in first panel…..The teeny tiny little heart above the Girl’s head in last panel is darling touch!

At least he snatched his hat back. I’ve heard of breaking the fourth wall, but did a leprechaun shoe break the third wall in the first panel?

I wondered why Baba and Granny Bitty and Natasha get along so well. Now we know: they are three of a kind.

I may have lost track, but I think we are up to about four million named characters.

I spy Robber Mouse Natasha in 2 panels! Peek-a-boo!

Poor Seamus, lost hat, lost boot and havin’ to pay a ransom to the wannabe kidnappers.

Well that settled the question of what kind of box one uses for a leprechaun trap.

“Oh, it’s an oatmeal box—kick out o’ it!” Is a very motherly line.

I can’t. I just can’t. I need to stop reading these at bedtime because my sleep gets delayed by 20 minutes due to unstoppable giggles.

The dreaded ear pinch! Outclassed only by the beard snatch!

His best coat has epaulettes.

His good coat has shoulder brushes. Nice touch.

Hey! I guessed the right name! It seemed appropriate.

Georgia’s detailed art work is really fantastic. For instance in panel two Seamus’ open mouth shows his teeth and tongue. Very realistic.

And in the final frame Grandma seems to be wearing a daffodil in her hair.

I see that it’s “only an oatmeal box”, and the kids are just having some “harmless fun”, but isn’t that still leprechaun harassment? He is small and they are trying to trap him. We all know what can happen to things children get ahold of. Considering he’s had to put up with this all his life, is it really such an overreaction? I think the children should also apologize and promise to stop their own bad behavior towards leprechauns. That seems more fair, and good basis for a better relationship in the future.

Aww, a happy ending. And the gold was never recovered from where he ‘lost’ it.

Uh, Nat? Please don’t hold needles under the girl’s chin like that…

Are we certain that the “chocolate coins” aren’t three-month old Hanukkah gelt?

If Natasha stole his wallet and gold, where did he get the gold to give the children? Will natasha have to give it all back?

Boot, 3rd wall, sock, hat snatch, daffodil on head, epaulets,…today’s strip wins the prizes for “most detail,” “awesomest detail,” and “most times I scrolled back after I’d studied panels and thought I’d seen everything but a commenter caught something else.” Totally deserves engraving all that on the trophy.

Ooooh! She’s gotten both ears! One in panel 2 and the other in panel 3. Granny is plenty peeved at yon Shameus. He’s never going to live this down.

I also note that Natasha is a very solid presence, especially in panel 5!

So this whole story was just an excuse to use the line “You shame us, Seamus.”

Worth it? Hmm, maybe.

Well I know the leprechaun was scary and unkind, but to make him give up CHOCOLATE! Oh, now I feel so sorry for him.

For those who missed the alliteration, “Seamus” is pronounced the same as “shame us”.

Seamus was really trying to tell her it wasn’t him. That he was framed. And he’s right. The vile raccoons didn’t get their war, but they did get away with impersonating leprechauns.

This is definitely my favorite arc by far. tiny bagpipes, itty fists/bitty fury, why wouldn’t I love this?
