Guess I don’t understand cats thinking. Hairballs are a gift of love? My very large cat, Moku San ( must bow when I saw his name), has hairballs the size of mice. He doesn’t have them often but, when he does the earth shakes. He hates to be groomed. He has long hair and in order for me to comb him I need to lock both of us in the bathroom. Then I can comb him but it’s not easy. He’s so strong. And, cutting his nails? It’s a real battle. I’m exhausted when I’m done.

Sophititi: Have you made Elvis-Anum a pair of leisure socks again?

Maat-Tilda: Of course. It’s the same thing he wants every year. And Her Majesty always says the same thing: You don’t need to give me anything.

Sophititi: But I think she’ll like how we decorated the Royal Sitting Room for her.

Maat-Tilda: Yes. Burt-Ra outdid himself making an impossibly tiny nap box. And I think Thomios will enjoy the delicacies I found for his pantry. With a little anonymous help, of course.

Sophititi: And I’ve created a set of tumbling mats for Lupinium. He goes through them so quickly.

Maat-Tilda: I don’t think they’ve found a way to make Lupinium proof mats yet.

Sophititi: And what have you made Puckmosis and Beatrixia?

Maat-Tilda: I’ve decorated a set of scrolls for them. A set of historical scrolls for Puckmosis, and fairy tale scrolls for Bea.

We have 4 cats and we only see about 1 hairball a year. I can’t explain.

Puck has a red tie, and Elvis as red suspenders and perhaps Lupin’s tie is red too?

This one had me laughing out loud at the last panel. Fortunately, I’ve learned not to drink or eat when reading BCN!

Mr Kitty had his own cat door to the outside from his room. He never left me a hairball, but bird beaky bits and rodent entrails were a favorite “gift” for the floor. Stepping on that barefooted was not fun. I’d cuss for a bit, and he’d stop leaving them for about six months. Cats do understand cause and effect.

I didn’t believe in “visceral love” until one day I encountered a Chicana dancer who had had an affair with me. I saw her from 50 yards away and immediately experienced an ineffable “gut pain”. I actually thought to myself. “It’s bad enough to have loved and lost without dying of a cliche.”

I believe there has been an update of some sort at Spectrum that has phhhhtttt’d out wifi connectivity on older computers and phones. Mobile data LTE+ seems to be more stable today however.
