There’s something I’ve always wondered about dreams. Why is it that things you know aren’t possible in the real world, like a dead relative being alive again, does your brain accept without question when you’re dreaming?
Reminds me of a GET FUZZY strip in which Satchel contemplates what Bucky dreams about, though Rob dismiss it as, “Kitty stuff, probably.” And what did Bucky actually dream about? Being a big, bag, biker cat.
Are you sure girls have different dreams than boys? I admit, mine had more horses, but they looked an awful lot like that. Except the one that I rode a triceratops and jumped it over all the fences and hedges down the street.
Did Shannon insist they go get the Potato, or did he just happen to be visiting? I wish Evans would update TJ’s hair, and get rid of the little duck tail. Maybe lose one of the piercings. It’s too 80s.
They are at Brad’s house, it has those arched doorways. Not sure why Puddles is there, maybe Luann dropped him off to be with Shannon while she worked. I’m going to go ahead and say it – with all the gun violence and sadness, is it really appropriate to portray a child with a machine gun? Super heroes don’t use guns, they have super powers. Duh,
why does puddles have to be in the same house for her to dream about him? I often have dreams involving people who are thousands of miles away or even dead
I wasn’t much different. Except I wanted a Green Lantern ring, or a flight-ring like the Legionnaires. It would be cool to hang out with Superboy when he visited the 30th Century.
Shannon looks so adorable and innocent when she sleeps♡♡♡. Brad probably knows her better that her father, he knows how to go beyond the moment. Very amazing dream, absurd like a Tex Avery cartoon or a Japanese anime.
My red headed twin daughters cosplayed as Amy Pond, Princess Clarice from Castle of Cagliostro, Nausicaa, Ranma, Kei of the Lovely Angels, Barbara Gordon, and others.
And instead of wondering why she is not dreaming all those ‘sweet’ things, remember women should be taken seriously. Most of them are smarter than we are.
Heddy Lamar was not only a beautiful woman and extraordinary actress but is also a genius inventor credited with inventing the technology that was the basis for Bluetooth and WiFi and their security by frequency hopping. Also used in torpedo guidance systems. Hedy Lamarr really was erased from so many history books, her inventions hidden away (we wouldn’t even have modern Wi-Fi if it wasn’t for her. Her glamour and stardom showcased as a cover because of course history cannot allow a woman to beautiful and brilliant and multitalented.
Also we wouldn’t have modern computers if it wasn’t for the amazing Ada Lovelace, another woman often forgotten and taken out of history books). Ada saw something that others failed to see. What Lovelace saw…was that number could represent entities other than quantity. So once you had a machine for manipulating numbers, if those numbers represented other things, letters, musical notes, then the machine could manipulate symbols of which number was one instance, according to rules. It is this fundamental transition from a machine which is a number cruncher to a machine for manipulating symbols according to rules that is the fundamental transition from calculation to computation—to general-purpose computation.
I like to look at the message of the strip. The dog, where they are is missing the point. That said, Shannon is definitely a one of a kind little girl and a force to be reckoned with and it shows in her dreams.
Personally, I find it rather sad that people can’t just read a comic, and, using their imagination, take it at face value, without having to politicize, or over-analyze it.

Super Shannon And Puddles …The Wonder Dog!
They fight our worlds problems.
And one of them is that Shannon is standing on it and destroying the surface of the planet. LOL

Greg either has Puddles at Brad’s place or TJ and Shannon at Frank’s place. The continuity failure is massive. Time to retire.

What Shannon dreams I hope is not because of watching a lot of news on TV the last few days.

Why is the dog there? Do Brad and Toni really have so little to do that they’re dogsitters now too?

Most dreams are not of what you want to be, but more of what you could have or should be.

With all the gun violence in the US, it is surprising to see a superhero with a weapon. Most superhero’s don’t have guns.
