My father’s cousin had them play “My Way” at his funeral. He was the one who only came to our house once a year when we were kids to show off his new Cadillac.
I think these cartoons reflect an actual reality. Wives burying their husbands are getting more frequent. Just check any doctor’s office and you will notice a lot of widows and barely any widowers.
