Tommy’s Woman hasn’t posted anything about Sophie on IG lately, I hope she’s alright.

Kibble and a trap are useless. But the voice of his Woman is all that is needed to bring Tommy home.

Dang and Double dang. I am signed up to see Georgia at Shoreline Library on Aug 17. And We just got our season Opera tickets, and the first show , Elixer of Love, is on the same night. Dang! I hope I can catch Georgia another time.

There it is. That’s the one. All I have to do is think about it, and my eyes go blurry.

This was one of my favorites, what a great way to end an awesome arc! Tommy will live forever in everyone’s hearts!

And at last we learn the name of That Backyard Cat.

This week has been a tribute to Tommy. The Admiral Tommy Whiskerstache passed away last month and Georgia wanted to celebrate him in addition to taking a much needed break while being sick.

The last scene warms the cockles of my heart every time I see it..

I could see it better if it wasn’t for this Stupid blurry monitor……

still makes me tear up after all these years.

So much in panel 4 without saying a word. Georgia showed an incredible talent for writing characters and plots with this arc. I also find Tommy’s lines in panel 2 quite amusing. I think this is the arc that comes to mind when we think of Tommy, so glad it made it in.

Ah, Tommy, this moment was, and still is, priceless.

The whole week has been a lovely homage to Tommy.

I loved the Christmas arc with Tommy and Elvis, and this scene always makes me smile, no matter when I see it.

No, it’s a week of Tommy Tributes by Georgia.

And cue the uplifting orchestral music!

My wife and I used to take our indoor cats in cages on our bicycles for the occasional field day in a wooded area. We were lucky in that they were satisfied after an hour of frolicking and returned to their cages willingly.

There are a handful of single panels that I just adore and move me. The last one in this strip is one of those.

OT: non-feline major squeee (posted late yesterday; repeated today for those who missed it)

The last panel of this strip is my 2nd favorite panel of all of BCN. #1? The reunion of Tillie and Winnie. That one blurs my screen more than this one, and it warms my heart a bit more. However, they’re both beyond any other strip since Pogo.

It is the one after this that made me just sob. And the one when Elvis came home and the woman put him in the bedroom to rest telling him he was a good boy. That one was just heart crushing.

This is the arc that hooked me on the strip. Our paper had just started carrying it and I was thinking, “What the heck is this?” I didn’t really care for it. But then there was this Tommy-Elvis sequence and I was a goner!

This is hands down my favorite BCN ever.

It was year ago that our friend Bill Jackson was taken from us. Rest in peace, Bill.

Thankfully I don’t have to see the full arc. Just when I’d be getting over blurry Elvis eyes I’d shot right into blurry Tommy eyes.

“Nibble nibble I love kibble.” Made me chuckle, Dear, always cheerful Tommy. <3
